Jason Kidd filed for divorce from his wife, Joumana. The couple have been married since 1997. Kidd is claiming to be a domestic violence victim. He says that his wife has kicked, hit and thrown household items at him. He also claims that she has installed tracking devices on his cell phone and computers. Kidd told the court that many times she would lay in front of his car or sit on the hood, preventing him from making business obligations.
