Go cop the icon issue of "Fader" magazine. Aaliyah graces the cover, seven years after she left us. Her family and closest friends comment about what she meant to them. Being a native Detroiter, I can still remember what I was doing when I heard the news! Time really stood still! I miss her. Rest In Peace, Aaliyah!

A New Duet!
Whitney Houston performed at the Caudwell Children's Legend Ball at London’s Battersea Park on Thursday. The singer performed a medley of her hits and surprised the crowd with a duet of "My Love Is Your Love" with Bobbi-Kristina. I guess she'll be on Rock The Cradle next.

I Changed My Mind!
I know I said I was giving Mariah and Nick 3 months but, I really hope they last. I saw her video for "Bye Bye" and I thought that they looked wonderful together. Nick looks in love and very mature. I am happy for them. Yes, I can change my mind!

How Will This End?
Before their nuptials, Nick and Mariah got tattoos. Mariah got "Mrs. Cannon" on her neck and Nick got "Mariah" across his back. Yes, shoulder to shoulder! Lord, I hope it lasts! Apparently, they got these things weeks before the wedding. Mariah says, "Anyone who saw the "Mrs. Cannon" tattoo on my neck wasn't surprised about the wedding." Crazy kids!

Even though they say their "just friends" pictures tell the truth. I have many friends I don't lean on like this. Chris Brown and Rihanna were spotted in a KFC in Miami. Rihanna is in town with the "Glo In The Dark" tour with Kanye West. Note to Rihanna: That's right girl, lock that man up!
Is It Just Me?
Is it just me or does anyone else watch "Kimora Lee: Life In The Fab Lane" and want to whoop her children? They are the most bratty, snotty and disrespectful kids I have ever seen in my life! The youngest is the worst! I know that reality shows tend to beef things up but I can look at her face and tell she is exatly what we see. She is nasty to the chef and the assistants and tries to overrule her older sister. She, however, does not mess with Ms. Jay (from "America's Next Top Model") or B.J. who is in charge of promotion for "Phat Farm". I think that because they are gay, they cut her off at the start. I feel so bad that I can't watch the show without wanting to pull out a belt and give them an "old-fashioned ass whooping!"

“A woman reported Scott held a plastic dry cleaning bag over her 2-year-old son’s head. She told child protection Scott was the boy’s father, who recently became involved in the boy’s life in January 2008. The woman told police Scott asked the boy to spend the night at his Eden Prairie home on April 25. When she went to pick up her son the next day, she walked through the unlocked door and heard crying.
When she entered the home, she found Scott leaning over the boy, who was on his back crying and kicking his legs. The boy had a dry cleaning bag over his head and Scott was holding it tight around the boy’s neck. Scott told the woman they were playing and he wanted to see if the boy could get the bag off by himself.
Other Injuries:The woman told police she noticed other injuries on her son after his visit to Scott’s home. When she asked him, Darrion Scott told her the boy might have fallen in the utility room. Toward the end of March or beginning of April, Scott brought the boy home and asked if he could bathe him, according to the criminal complaint. The next day, the boy’s mother noticed what appeared to be burn marks of his arm and ear. Scott told her he didn’t know how the boy was injured.
A doctor, and child abuse expert, examined the marks and determined they were intentionally inflicted. She said the marks were consistent with burns or an impact injury. In ‘February, the boy came home with three lumps on his forehead. Scott told the mother they were doing a ‘victory dance’ to celebrate the boy’s use of the toilet, and he threw the boy in the air, causing him to fall and hit his head on the frame of a sofa.”

This man is crazy! I need to know why, after 3 lumps on his head in February, the mother kept taking him over there? One unexplainable bruise is enough! Child Protective Services will not give YOU 3 chances. Why give him 3? I, in no way, advocate violence but, this man was a professional football player. He tortured a 2 year old! How nice!!!
Michael Strahan must feel like the luckiest man in the world. Superbowl champion and he has Nicole Murphy (Eddie's ex) on his arm. I just have one question: Why did she dress like a skeezy chickenhead while she was married to Eddie? She looks nice and very conservative when she is out with Michael. She used to look so desperate! Like she was trying to find a man, and she was married! I'm just saying, she looked like Eddie and her shared name only! I don't know how they had all those kids. Turkey baster, maybe?

I wanna see a fight! Star Jones has responded to what Barbara Walters said about her in her book. She said that Star Jones had gastric bypass surgery and decided to lie and say that portion control and pilates caused her weight loss. Barbara said that because Star lied, the entire cast had to lie. Well, Star is fired up about that statement! She fired back and said, “It is a sad day when an icon like Barbara Walters, in the sunset of her life, is reduced to publicly branding herself as an adulterer, humiliating an innocent family with accounts of her illicit affair and speaking negatively against me all for the sake of selling a book. It speaks to her true character.” Damn! Not only is she saying that she is old as hell but, she said that she is not interesting enough to sell a book. I happen to agree with Star about the revelation about the affair. That man may have children. It was just tasteless to divulge that now! Again, I never liked Barbara Walters!

Star Jones has found another prop. She was spotted out at dinner last night, in NYC. I hear that this one is a professor at some college. He looks young and totally not interested. LOL

Beyonce and husband Jay-Z (sounds funny saying that) partied the night away, last night. They threw the party after Jay-Z and Mary J. Blige's concert at Madison Square Garden. The 40/40 Club was where the venue was held. Look, they coordinated their colors! Sort of like a prom picture. LOL

Compare The Two!
Take a look at this picture of Diddy at his "Star On The Walk Of Fame" gala. The boy on the left of Kim Porter is her son with Al B. Sure. He's about 16. The other picture is Al B. Sure Jr. He is on the show "Rock The Cradle" on MTV. They don't even look like 1/2 brothers. What happened to Al B. Sure Jr.? Anyhoo, this picture is so beautiful. The children look so wonderful and they look like a perfect family. Looks can be deceiving! I hope they settle their differences and settle down, soon. Cute kids! The child molestation case against R. Kelly has turned X-Rated. According to the Chicago Sun-Times, another young lady has come forward and said that she recognized the girl in the video and that she was about 13-14 at the time the video was taken. How does she know, you ask? Because she had a 3-some with R. Kelly and the girl when she was a teenager, herself. DAMN! In the picture he is telling you how tall you mest be to enter his ride!
