Real Talk!!!

I wanted to take this space and talk about that "inner spirit." The "inner spirit" is the voice that tells you that he/she is not right for you! Most of us don't listen but, listening could stop alot of the heartache and violence. Sometimes, the "inner spirit" can take the form of our parents or good friends. These people can often see what we refuse to look at. I thought about this when I read about the pending divorce of Usher and Tameka. Usher's mother, Johnetta Patton, tried to tell him. She took the form of his "inner spirit." Sadly, Usher didn't listen. On the bright side, he did get two beautiful children from the marriage. Downside, he will pay child support and alimony for a long time. Sometimes a hard head makes a soft behind! Listen to your "inner heart."

Well What'ya Know?

I guess I scooped the story! According to People.com, Usher has filed for divorce! Read on: "The R & B star filed the petition Friday in Superior Court in Atlanta, court records show, according to the Associated Pres. The couple, who got married in August 2007, have two sons together, Usher Raymond V, 18 months, and Naviyd, 6 months." The story goes on to say that Usher has been keeping Tameka away from him. Perhaps marrying an old gold-digger isn't the way to go! It is suspected that the couple were not together when she almost lost her life trying to get a tummy tuck in Brazil. Note to Usher: Always listen to mommy!

Take With A Grain Of Salt.......

Take it with a grain of salt but, InTouch Magazine is claiming that Usher filed for legal separation from his wife. I have seen many pictures of him around town, lately, without his wife or his ring. I won't read much into that, though! Everyone knows that I would be the happiest to see him divorce. I wish no ill will, though! I'm just saying, the marriage was doomed from the start! It's no surprise that Usher is the one, allegedly, filing for separation. This man is pretty fickle and I think he has issues with longevity. Perhaps he should marry someone his own age!

The Queen Speaks......

Queen Latifah has come out and spoke about her sexual abuse, as a child. It happened from a teenage male babysitter and she says, "It affected my life, negatively, for a long time." She also says,"I could have been married a long time ago but, I have commitment issues." Is it me or does it seem that a lot of people (believed to be homosexual) have been sexually abused? Is there a coorelation? Could that be why there is such hatred between the sexes? Lesbian women have hatred or distrust of men and gay men have a hatred or distrust of women. Could there be something in their childhood? I don't know! I will say this, Queen Latifah could have been a model! The girl looks good in front of the camera!

Epiphany!!!

Have you ever had an idea so good, that you start spending money in your head? I had a dream, last night, and in the middle of the dream I started shopping! WTH? The sad part is, I can't even remember what I invented! I just remember that I made a lot of money! See, this is when you know you need help! When everything you do is so that you can shop, you need an intervention! My, entire, family must need one too because they have never tried to help me! Oh sure they have commented on my buying prowess but, they have never put me on the "couch." For those who don't watch "Intervention" the "couch" is where you and your family end up! Where your mother tells you how much she loves you and how your addiction is bothering her life! Well, since they haven't brought it up, I guess I have time to go to DSW! LOL

This Is Absurd!

Rapper T-Pain bought a new piece of jewelry for $400,000! I can think of a few things he could have done with that money (Like cut his hair, get a stylist and save for a rainy day!) but, to each his own. The thing that gets me is the chain is ugly! "Big Ass Chain?" That's original. How about, "I'm A Loser" or "Soon Homeless" or "Desperate Attempt" or "Chain Gets Girls" or "So-What I Stink" or "Over-Exposed Clown" or "Simple Ass Negro!" I could go on for years. I hope I don't see him getting his possessions repossessed, any time soon. If you have ANYTHING to add, please do!
