Montco! Montco! Montco!

I heard about a private swimming club denying African-American children entrance! I thought I was reading about 1920! In 2009 a private swim club is behaving this way? First, let me tell you about my experience with a "private swim club" in my area. I inquired about a membership to a "private swim club" and was astonished at the dues! They definitely make it hard for "us" to be members. The membership called for you to pay $2000.00 for intro fees and stock fees. The annual dues were $504.00! They damn near wanted a credit check! When I went there, I didn't see many children that looked like mine! Consequently, my son said, "I don't want to swim here!" I was so relieved because, truth be told, I didn't want to give them my hard earned $2000.00! So imagine my surprise when I read about Montco! I can't wait until the powers that be jump all over this one! Now, these rednecks won't even take our money? I think that they are afraid that the next Michael Phelps is being groomed! First golf, then tennis and next swimming! Montco, we're coming....

Hot Mamas!

These two ladies have laid low during their pregnancies! Jennifer Hudson made a few appearances but, now that she is 8 months prego she is scarce. It was good to see her and hear from her today at the Michael Jackson memorial. Lauren London, who is due in September, hasn't been seen in months. The bloggers have really been mean to her. They are alledging that she is prego with Lil Wayne's child and that his on/off again girlfriend, Nivea, is due in September also. What a tangled web..... The ladies looked beautiful.....

MJ Memorial.....

Watching the MJ memorial and thinking, to myself, I would have loved to be there. My sister put in an e-mail and was not chosen. Oh well, I have the best seat in the house. I am really pissed at the media for saying that the memorial is a "spectacle." The media, itself, has made this a spectacle! Their big ass trucks and satellites are making this a spectacle! Be fair and cover this like you covered Reagan's four day funeral!

First Crack, Now Stalking?

Former Mayor Marion Berry was arrested and charged with stalking. At what age does a man sit his behind down? This man should be enjoying his golden years not jumping out of bushes! Shame of the week!

So Sad.....

It seems every time I blog, I'm blogging about a death! This time, I'm talking about former QB Steve McNair. McNair died from a fatal gunshot wound at the age of 36. He leaves to cherish his memory a wife, Mechelle, and 4 sons. This would be a normal obit but, there are even sadder circumstances surrounding his death. McNair wasn't alone when he was found dead. A 20 year old female was found dead beside him. The young lady, Sahel Kazemi, was a Dave & Buster employee that McNair was "allegedly" romantically linked to. So his wife can't just grieve! She has to watch reports on the news about him and this woman. My grandmother used to say, "what's done in the dark, will come to light." Sometimes the "light" is tragedy. There has been speculation that the young woman may have committed a murder/suicide. We don't know all the details but, these reports make it even more difficult for his family. Let's keep them in our prayers.
