Sad

This story has me feeling conflicted. On the one hand, I would love for people to read my blog daily. On the other hand, I don't want people to watch or read for the wrong reason. Which brings me to this story... a college student committed suicide on his web-cam, as internet users watched. The student, Abraham Biggs, suffered from Bi-polar and manic depression. Read on:

"A college student committed suicide by taking a drug overdose in front of a live webcam as some computer users egged him on, others tried to talk him out of it, and another messaged OMG in horror when it became clear it was no joke. Some watchers contacted the Web site to notify police, but by the time officers entered Abraham Biggs’ home, a scene also captured on the Internet, it was too late.

Biggs, a 19-year-old Broward College student who suffered from what his family said was bipolar disorder, or manic depression, lay dead on his bed in his father’s Pembroke Pines house Wednesday afternoon, the camera still running 12 hours after Biggs announced his intentions online around 3 a.m.

It was unclear how many people watched it unfold.

Biggs was not the first person to commit suicide with a webcam rolling. But the drawn-out drama and the reaction of those watching was seen as an extreme example of young people’s penchant for sharing intimate details about themselves over the Internet.

Biggs’ family was infuriated that no one acted sooner to save him, neither the viewers nor the Web site that hosted the live video, Justin.tv. The Web site shows a video image, with a space alongside where computer users can instantly post comments."
What have we become? My prayers go out to Mr. Biggs family.

Sorry....

Sorry for not posting in a few days. Had a surgical procedure and I didn't think it wise to post under Vicodin influence. God only knows what stories would have come in. I am about my business now. The posts shall continue....

Timeless!

Say what you want but, Rihanna has the best stylist in the biz. The girl always looks classy and timeless. I'm digging the new tattoo on her right wrist. It's a tribal tattoo that means strength and love. She and beau, Chris Brown, got the tats in New Zealand. Cute!

Out And About!

Jay-Z was out and about sans his wife Beyonce, last night. He was at the Nets game watching them lose to King James and the Cavaliers. I like the glasses on him but, his hair looks hideous! Stylist needed....

End The "Stop Snitching" Crap NOW!

T.I. is set to testify against the alleged killer of his friend. I read that people are saying he's snitching! I am so sick of this retarded phrase! If someone killed or hurt your child, you'd want justice! If you retaliated, you'd be in jail! Let the system work! Read on about the trial:
"One of two men implicated in the murder of T.I.’s childhood friend, Philant Johnson, went on trial yesterday (November 18) in Cincinnati facing multiple charges including murder and felonious assault. Authorities spent almost two years investigating the May 2006 chase and shoot out that left Johnson dead and three other individuals in the Grand Hustle camp wounded. It wasn’t until this past summer that police caught a break, which lead to the arrest of 40-year-old Padron Thomas and 36-year-old Hosea Thomas, who stands on trial alone in the crime. The elder Thomas brother, along with two others charged with federal gun crimes, contacted officials earlier this year with details of the incident, effectively pointing the finger at Hosea as the killer.

Padron Thomas alleges, he and his friends confronted T.I. and his crew over gaining entry to the VIP area at Club Ritz in the Roselawn area of Cincinnati. Following the ensuing fight, the Atlanta-based rapper and his entourage left the scene in two vans. They were chased by a green Jeep Cherokee, from which the shots were later fired. Padron Thomas has admitted to driving the vehicle and told authorities that his brother Hosea fired shots at the vans, one which was described as a “horror scene,” with blood and brain matter dripping from the ceiling. He also claims that at least one member of T.I.’s camp returned fire. While Hamilton County prosecutor Heather Gosselin indicated in her opening statement that the states case would “come down to witness testimony,” Hosea Thomas’ lawyer Charles Isaly pointed out that the character of those witnesses should be questioned. He insisted that all of the prosecution’s proposed witnesses are out to paint his client in a negative light in order to obtain reduced sentences for their own crimes. Padron Thomas’ plea deal has guaranteed that he will serve no time behind bars for his part in the incident. Prosecutors have allowed him to plead guilty to a reduced charge of manslaughter, dropping the murder charges he originally faced alongside his brother. They had also agreed to allow him to serve any sentence he receives concurrently with his federal prison sentence."

This man "allegedly" took the life of a man. He took a father and husband away from his family. If someone knows something, they should testify. It's the least that you can do to bring closure to a family.

D-R-A-M-A!

I took the liberty of posting a snippet of the dramam that goes down on the reunion of "The Real Housewives Of Atlanta." Kim is getting maliwopped! LOL

Pre-Editorial!

Before you read my synopsis of "The Real Houswives Of Atlanta," you might want to get the "real" dirt on the housewives from yahoo. Paste the sddress in your browser for their scandalous pasts. http://tv.yahoo.com/blog/how-real-are-the-real-housewives--40

Last Night's Drama....

The finale of "The Real Housewives Of Atlanta" aired. I will recap for you, if you missed it. Let's start with Sheree: She had a consultation with Mychael Knight (Project Runway fave) to help start her busted clothing line called "SHE by Sheree." He told her she did everything wrong! She spent too much money and hired low-budget seamstresses and never picked her own fabric. Basically, she was a dumbass. Kim: received the news that she can't sing! Dallas Austin told her she needs to quit smoking and drinking and sing while running 3 miles. Basically, sit your ass down and stop being delusional. Deshawn: Had a very poignant conversation with her husband, Eric Snow, about what he will do after leaving the NBA. Basically, he'll do what all former players do, commentate. Lisa: Dealt with her hubby being signed to the Oakland Raiders. She, also, tried to help Deshawn learn to cook. Disaster! Lisa threw her hubby a birthday party and invited everybody. NeNe and Sheree showed up but, Kim didn't. Sheree was being very childish and didn't want to take a pic with NeNe. At the end of the show there was a dinner for the wives and their spouses and children. NeNe, got in Kim's ass and told her it was stupid to leave a text message for her without talking to her first. Kim acknowledged that she was hasty with the nasty text. NeNe's husband, Greg Leakes, told them all that "friends don't behave this way!" He spoke the best words of the season. The reunion airs next Tuesday and promises fireworks! NeNe has to be restrained and Lisa is about to go judo on Kim. Funny, Sheree never comes to the defense of her BFF! Watch it!

No Ta-Ta's!

Mel B has a new "topless" gig! According to People.com, "Former Dancing with the Stars alumni Melanie Brown and Kelly Monaco are trading the ballroom for a Las Vegas stage.

Monaco and Brown – a Dancing winner and runner-up respectively – are set to star in PEEPSHOW, a topless, burlesque-style performance that is expected to open in March at the Planet Hollywood Resort and Casino.

Neither Brown nor Monaco will be topless, but the showgirls surrounding them will be. Brown will be "scantily clad, but in a classy way," she says.

Monaco's character in the show will be "Little Bo Peep," a timid and lonely girl who is guided by Brown's character, "Peep Diva."
Sorry guys, no ta-ta's for you! LOL

Oh No He Didn't!!!!!

Prince is talking about politics and his stand on homosexuality. Read on:
"So here’s how it is: you’ve got the Republicans, and basically they want to live according to this.” He pointed to a Bible. “But there’s the problem of interpretation, and you’ve got some churches, some people, basically doing things and saying it comes from here, but it doesn’t. And then on the opposite end of the spectrum you’ve got blue, you’ve got the Democrats, and they’re, like, ‘You can do whatever you want.’ Gay marriage, whatever. But neither of them is right.”

When asked about his perspective on social issues—gay marriage, abortion—Prince tapped his Bible and said, “God came to earth and saw people sticking it wherever and doing it with whatever, and he just cleared it all out. He was, like, ‘Enough.’ ”
Note to Prince: Please refer to the above pics of yourself. If you can honestly stick by your comments, without snickering, then we believe you.
Note to readers: I am appeasing Prince. If he thinks that getting into the Kingdom Hall is the way to assuage the "suspect" things he's done for years, so be it!

It Was Okay......

This weekend I caught the movie, "Quantum Of Solace." It was okay! It had alot of fight scenes and fast cars and running. That's all I remember because I had a migraine headache. It didn't answer all my questions. I was kind of let down. I will let you in on a secret: If you don't want to hear it, stop reading now! There are no gadgets in the movie! I go to the see 007 for the gadgets! The exploding pen, the car that drives itself etc. If this is what you like, don't go see this movie. I am still not used to Daniel Craig. He just isn't sexy enough. Oh well, there goes my movie critique!

They Finally Did It!

Finally, SNL has brought the funny back! For a while they were so unfunny. This brings it all back. Check out Justin Timberlake doing his best version of Beyonce's "Single Ladies!" Pay close attention to the fella in the back. Side-splitting!

Everybody Knew.....

Last night, in Las Vegas, there awas a Prop 8 Rally. Wanda Sykes was there and she came out of the closet. She said, "You know, I don't really talk about my sexual orientation. I didn't feel like I had to. I was just living my life, not necessarily in the closet, but I was living my life. Everybody that knows me personally they know I'm gay. But that's the way people should be able to live their lives." Most people already knew this but, for those of you who didn't, here it is!
