Weezy F. Baby (Please say the Baby!) was arrested in Boise, Idaho. Weezy did a show and was promptly picked up, afterwards. The Boise ccops snagged Weezy for a felony warrant, out of Fulton County, Georgia, for felony drug possession. Note to Weezy: Don't drop the soap, and no kissing men!

Trouble! Trouble!

Marion Jones is about to plead guilty to lying to the Feds about her steroid use. Apparently, the FEDS intercepted a letter she wrote to her family admitting her steroid use. She had vehemently denied it during the BALCO investigation. She is facing 6 months in jail but will likely only do 3 months. The father of her son, Timothy Montgomery was stripped of his medals for steroid use and is also facing time for money laundering. I am stunned! I thought she really worked for those medals. Marion may have to return all medals won. Damn! who's next, Oprah? Black folks soar, and get shot down! DAMN! On a brighter note, February 2007, Marion married sprinter Obadele Thompson and they are expecting their first child.

VH1's Hip Hop Honors!

Premiering on October 8th, the awards were filmed last night. I can't wait to see them. Among the honorees are Missy Elliot, Teddy Riley, Whodini and Tribe Called Quest. I am stoked! I can't wait to see Whodini! Hip-hop has slept on these pioneers! Note to readers: I heard that Phyfe from "Tribe Called Quest" was in attendance but looked sickly. I hear he is suffering from Diabetes and is in need of a kidney transplant. Keep him in your prayers! In the meantime, check out just a few of the stars who showed up, last night. Jim Jones Moving?

Jim Jones has signed a very lucrative deal with Sony Records. I know, who cares, right? Anyhoo, now if he could only sign a deal with soap and water! LOL Jim did an interview with Miss Info. Like to read it, here it goes...
“I just left the lawyer’s office. I signed a multimillion dollar joint venture with Sony. My boss is Rick Rubin and Hip Hop (Kyambo Joshua) is doing my albums with me. What you think Jay-Z is gonna think about that?”

“What’s crazy is that they gave me the same deal that Un and them fucked up back in the day when they got the Sony/Untertainment deal….I got that joint venture, that 50/50 split, they don’t give those out anymore. That’s a Dame Dash, Ruff Ryders deal. And I’m bout to go crazy with it. I’m gonna be a problem.”

“That’s bugged, right? Just think, Minya [note: ok, I’ve known the Dipset guys longer than I’ve been Miss Info so they get a pass, ool] Hip Hop is the guy who did all of Jay’s albums, and Rick Rubin is the man who gave him that monster hit. So I dont know if he was aware of the deal, but its when everyone else finds out….that’s what I imagine will put him in a different kind of state.”

Judge Mathis Sued?

Judge Greg Mathis and Warner Bros. are the victims of a lawsuit. The suit was filed by Melody Burnham ,of San Diego. Miss Burnham says that after a year she realized that Judge Mathis was not a sitting judge. Even though, she and a friend were flown to Chicago and put in a hotel and fed, she thought he was a San Diego judge? Anyhoo, she also says that she showed Judge Mathis a picture of her home and her washing machine was in the yard. Judge Mathis, allegedly, called her a "Hillbilly." He, allegedly, further humilliated her by dismissing her case and saying, "I'm sending you hillbillies back to the hills!" LOL Sorry, that is funny. I doubt she has a leg to stand on, with this lawsuit. It's funny though!

Finally!

Finally, Solange is discussing her non-marriage. She told Essence magazine about the status of her marriage. Here's just a few questions:
ESSENCE.com: As you know there’s a lot of mystery surrounding your relationship with your husband, Daniel Smith, so let’s just go ahead and get that out of the way. Are you still married?

Solange Knowles: Well, I am no longer married, but I think it’s very important not to dish details. We are friends and we coparent our son. When he gets older I don’t want him to read anything about me saying anything about his father or vice versa. When there’s a child involved I think the less information given is best.

ESSENCE.com: So just to clear things up, how did you two meet?

S.K.: We met at a high school party through mutual friends. He was in high school and I was 13 and in middle school. We were together seven years, so it wasn’t just some random guy. We were basically high school sweethearts.

ESSENCE.com: Do you have any regrets about the situation? Did you feel forced or pressured to get married?

S.K.: No, I think every decision has made me who I am today. I’ve embraced everything because I know that only God can give life, no one else. I’m happy that I have a beautiful, wonderful, amazing child who’s made me a better person

Oh, Isiah!

Isiah Thomas was found guilty of Sexual Harassment today. Thomas harassed a New York Knicks executive. In his deposition, Isiah admitted to trying to kiss her and saying, "You ain't showin me no love today?" She also said that she was called a bitch and a whore on a daily basis. In the deposition, Isiah said that a "white" man called her a bitch. He said that it upset him. The attorney asked, "If he were a "black" man would it have upset you?" Isiah answered, "Not as much!" What the hell? That is why he is paying up! Dumb Ass! I heard that while the deposition was played in court, Isiah just kept his head down. Shame on you, Isiah!

Where on Earth has Jaheim been? He is trying to come back from oblivion, now! Perhaps he should have listened when Treach (from Naughty By Nature) said distance yourself from Kay-Gee (also formerly of Naughty By Nature). He said that Kay-Gee was the reason that many groups went under. Zhane, Next and Naughty By Nature were just a few. Well, I guess he didn't listen! Now, he's back and he looks a hot-ass mess! What's with the mullet? He looks like Al Green, on crack!
