The Dream, the singer of "Shorty Is A Ten" and writer of Rihanna's "Umbrella", has separated from his wife, singer Nivea. According to Page Six and their source, he has already took up with Kris Jacob. "His split from Nivea was amicable" said the source, who told us The-Dream flew his new lady out to Las Vegas so she could star in his music video. "He is crazy about Kris, they are inseparable." Damn, is any relationship, in the music biz, forever? Well, maybe Ashford and Simpson.

Low Budget Oprah?

Tyra Banks had a "Favorite Things" show reminiscent of Oprah's famous show. Oprah gives away millions of dollars worth of things to the audience. Tyra Banks wasn't quite as generous. "Tyra gave away shampoo and some cheesy diamond necklace," said an audience member. Note to Tyra: I'm sure everyone in that audience could afford shampoo!

Weezy F. Baby!

What the hell is going on with Weezy? He is full of himself. I ain't really feelin his flow! He apparently is feeling it more than anyone else. He was interviewed by XXL magazine and they asked about the perception he's oversaturating the market with his music, Wayne responds: "Darling, I don't care what nobody think. Oprah's On The Campaign Trail!

Oprah and Obama are going on the road to campaign. Winfrey, 53, who backs the 46-year-old Illinois senator in his campaign for the White House, will appear at his rallies in Iowa on Saturday, and in South Carolina and New Hampshire on Sunday, the Associated Press reports. Go Obama!

Bow Wow Hospitalized!

According to TMZ Bow Wow had a performance in Cincinnati and was hospitalized. According to a statement issued by his record label, the 20-year-old is suffering from "stress and exhaustion." They also said that although his tour with Chris Brown, Sean Kingston and Soulja Boy is heading to Chicago tonight, Bow Wow won't be on stage.
I know he is scheduled to perform in Detroit on Saturday and my little cousin is going. She said he better get his rest and get his ass on stage! Okay, she didn't say ass! LOL

Vivica Fox Sentenced!

Vivica Fox plead no contest today to Driving Under The Influence. She was sentenced to 3 years probation a fine and she must attend AA meetings. The charges stem from her March arrest. In March Vivica was observed driving at a high rate of speed. She was pulled over and given a field sobriety test. She blew a .08 and was promptly taken into custody. I sounded like a cop just now didn't I? LOL

Grammy Nods...

Kanye West has 8 Grammy nominations. I know that they can't take away his pain but, I'm sure his spirits were lifted. Rihanna has 6 Grammy nods and Beyonce has 1. Where's the justice? Amy Winehouse may not have her husband by her side but she does have Grammy nods (At least 4). This Grammy ceremony is going to be so boring!

Apparently, there is a low-grade beef going on between Remy Ma and Lil Kim. DJ Kayslay interviewed Remy Ma and this is what she had to say about Lil Kim:

Pimp C May Have Died Of Natural Causes

Pimp C may have died of natural causes. According to Capt. Ed Winter of the L.A. County Coroner's office, Pimp C (Real name: Chad Butler) appears to have died of natural causes.

Winter tells TMZ.com that there was no drug paraphernalia found in Pimp C's hotel room and that it did not appear he had fallen or injured himself.

Reports suggest Pimp C was found fully clothed on top of the bed lying on his side.

Winter adds that it does not appear anyone else was in the room with Pimp C at the time of his death. An autopsy will be performed with toxicology results available in six to eight weeks.
I'm glad to know that there was no foul play or drugs. It seems that every rapper that expires, there is so much speculation. this should give his family some peace.

I am saddened, right now! According to TMZ.com, "Pimp C, real name Chad Butler -- and one half of the rap duo UGK, was found dead in a hotel room this morning. He was 33.

L.A. County Fire responded to a 911 call at the Mondrian Hotel, located on trendy Sunset Strip in Hollywood. They arrived to his sixth floor hotel room to find him dead in bed.

My prayers go out to Pimp C's family. A special prayer goes out to Bun B. The group performed Saturday night with Outkast at The House Of Blues. I'm sure they are in shock, right now.

Stephon Marbury of the New York Knicks, lost his father last night. Don Marbury passed away after leaving his sons game last night. Keep their family in your prayers.

Will Smith says that his daughter, Willow, has a strong work ethic. Willow makes her debut in "I Am Legend" on December 14th. "She has a drive," Smith tells PEOPLE. "She has an energy and she just connects to human emotion. I think a big part was probably [seeing] Jaden after The Pursuit of Happyness. She saw what Jaden did, and she was like, 'I want that.'" If you're thinking there is nepotism going on, you're wrong! Will and Jada make their children audition for roles. That keeps them humble and grounded! Kudos to the Smith family!
