Bernie Mac Hospitalized!

According to People.com, Bernie Mac has been hospitalized for pneumonia. The mag says, "Mr. Mac is responding well to treatment and will be released soon," his rep says in a statement. "He asked that his privacy and that of his family is respected while he gets well." The rep says the pneumonia is not related to Mac's diagnosis of sarcoidosis, an autoimmune disease that causes inflammation in organs such as the lungs or lymph nodes. Mac, 50, has been in remission from sarcoidosis since 2005, when he announced he had been suffering from the disease for the previous two decades. " I will keep him in my prayers! Please do the same!

I am an advocate for child support! I believe that a roof over your child's head and food and clothing should be paid for with these funds. Chris Webber had his annual Bada-Bling Gala at Planet Hollywood in Las Vegas, this weekend. Everybody showed up. The gala is for the Chris Webber Foundation. Being from Detroit, I have seen the wonderful things he has done for the city. My son went to the school he donated a gym to and benefited from some of his basketball camps. Chris wore a tuxedo, well I might add! Derek and Candace Fisher came, as well as Elise Neal and Finesse Mitchell and Dwyane Wade. Looks like fun!
