Just A Small Break In Christmas Spirit!

A Livonia Michigan man has been charged with hate crimes for trying to keep African Americans out of his neighborhood. According to The Detroit News: Curtis M. Gottler, 46, faces up to 13 years in prison if convicted of sending threats using a handwritten note, an e-mail and a letter.

According to an indictment handed down by a federal grand jury, Gottler left a handwritten note at the home of a Livonia couple in August, threatening to track them down and harm them if they sold their home to blacks.

Gottler also sent a threatening e-mail in September to the real estate agent who was handling the sale, the indictment alleges. Earlier, in June, Gottler allegedly sent a letter to a black Livonia resident, threatening harm if the resident failed to leave Livonia.

"The idea that someone can try to threaten and intimidate an African-American family -- and their real estate agent -- not to move into a certain neighborhood is a morally and legally bankrupt notion," U.S. Attorney Stephen Murphy said in a statement.
In this day and age the audacity to threaten people because you don't like their color is absurd. I am so glad that his full name was published. I'm sure that he is at work pretending that he likes African Americans. You know he probably says things like, "I have many black friends!" LOL Now back to your Christmas activities!
