Tell Them!

Yesterday was Father's Day. I ruffled a few feathers on Myspace when I spoke about Fathers vs. Baby Daddies. I said that those men who pledge to support their children physically, emotionally and financially, are fathers. The rest are simply baby daddies! I went on to say, "It's not too late for baby daddies to be fathers!" I said, "Remember the young man with the gun in your face, probaby had a baby daddy and not a father!" I guess I wasn't the only person to speak about it, yesterday. Barack Obama had a few choice words, also. He said,
“Too many fathers are M.I.A, too many fathers are AWOL, missing from too many lives and too many homes,” Mr. Obama said, to a chorus of approving murmurs from the audience. “They have abandoned their responsibilities, acting like boys instead of men. And the foundations of our families are weaker because of it.”
Accompanied by his wife, Michelle, and his daughters, Malia and Sasha, who sat in the front pew, Mr. Obama laid out his case in stark terms that would be difficult for a white candidate to make, telling the mostly black audience not to “just sit in the house watching SportsCenter,” and to stop praising themselves for mediocre accomplishments.
“Don’t get carried away with that eighth-grade graduation,” he said, bringing many members of the congregation to their feet, applauding. “You’re supposed to graduate from eighth grade.”

I couldn't have said it better myself! Obama '08!

I just hope Obama's own father doesn't show up once he's in the White House to embarrass his son like Billy Carter did to his brother, Jimmy. Remember "Billy Beer"? lol

I don't want to hear anything about a "Barack Clock" that you wear around your neck like Flavor Flav being sold by Obama's father.
