The premiere for "The Secret Life Of Bees" premiere was this weekend, and everybody came out to support. Will and Jada Smith (the producers of the 1960's movie) were in attendance. Queen Latifah, Nate Parker, Jennifer Hudson and many others were there to show support. I love the premieres for African-American themed movies! They show the diversity in Hollywood! Kudos to Will and Jada!

I am ashamed to say that until a week ago, I thought this movie was about insects. I wondered what Queen Latifah and Alicia Keys were doing in a movie about bees that wasn't animated. And I have the book!
Color me embarrassed!
