Spike Lee has signed on to direct a movie about the late James Brown. Brian Grazer will produce and the movie was in the works before Brown died. Posthumous movies for Ray Charles and Johnny Cash have netted Oscar nominations. Note to readers: What took them so long? It would have been nice if he could have seen the movie!
