Premiering on October 8th, the awards were filmed last night. I can't wait to see them. Among the honorees are Missy Elliot, Teddy Riley, Whodini and Tribe Called Quest. I am stoked! I can't wait to see Whodini! Hip-hop has slept on these pioneers! Note to readers: I heard that Phyfe from "Tribe Called Quest" was in attendance but looked sickly. I hear he is suffering from Diabetes and is in need of a kidney transplant. Keep him in your prayers! In the meantime, check out just a few of the stars who showed up, last night.
