I was wondering what happened to Mark McEwen! I read a story about him, yesterday, that shocked me to the core. For those who don't know, Mark McEwen, was a weatherman and anchor for CBS's morning show. Apparently, in 2005 he felt ill and visited a doctor and was told he was suffering from stomach flu. He left and boarded a plane and suffered a massive stroke. He decided to sue and his case was thrown out! I have seen the effects of strokes and they can be devastating. Many suffer from paralysis and aphasia (the loss of a previously held ability to speak or understand spoken or written language, due to disease or injury of the brain).
