Person Of The Year!

Time magazine has named President-Elect Barack Obama as the 2008 Person Of The Year! They really didn't have to tell us this. He's been our pick since his stirring speech at the Democratic Convention. The magazine has named Treasury Secretary Henry Paulson, French President Nicolas Sarkozy, Gov. Sarah Palin and Chinese director Zhang Yimou as runners-up. Sara Palin? I guess having a grandchild and pretending it's your child(Trig) is interesting. Perhaps it's her utter stupidity that earned her the spot. Perhaps it's the fact that she, single-handedly, lost the election for John McCain. Perhaps it's all of the above. Kudos and Congratulations to President-Elect Barack Obama.

I was fine with Time until I saw Sarah Palin's name mentioned anywhere near Barack's and this monumental honor. Complete disgust. I am very, very overjoyed for all the much garnered kudos Mr. Obama is getting though. Keeps hope alive!!

I feel you! What has she done, other than make a mockery of female politicians, to deserve to be in Time magazine? She should be in Mad Magazine. She is truly a farce.
