Goodnight Chuck!

Anyone who lived in Detroit knows Chuck Daly! He was the coach who took the Pistons to their NBA championship wins. Besides being a wonderful coach he was a family man and a style maven. Coach Chuck Daly died today at the age of 78 from Pancreatic Cancer. He will be missed for his sense of style and his knowledge of the game! Rest In Peace, Chuck.......

Keep his family in your prayers.

The Pistons were one of my favorite teams during their Bad Boy years. Isaiah and Joe Dumars vs Magic and Byron Scott. Rodman, Mahorn, and Laimbeer vs Rambis, Big Game James, and Kareem. And Riley vs Daly. Classic. The Pistons personified the gritty, no-nonsense nature of their coach. He will be sorely missed.

I remember the "Bad Boys" and their antics! It was nothing for Laimbeer to throw an elbow and break someone's jaw! Now they get ejected! It was sport back then! I'm gonna miss Chuck Daly but, I thank him for the years he gave us with the Pistons!
