Must Hear Music!

This is my fave cut on Whitney Houston's new CD! It's called Million Dollar Bill and it's fiyah! Judge for yourself!

Although I haven't heard the cut, I did see the interview. And, yes, Whitney sounded like her old self. For some reason, she also looked very Dianne Carroll about the face and hair.

But she sounded grounded and sober and well-rid of the 150-pound weight otherwise known as Bobby Brown.

How far gone do you have to stay with someone after they spit on you? I wasn't surprised by anything she said in the interview, but I was shaking my head at that one!

To some artists it's a bad word, but can we call this a "comeback"?

I hope so! Welcome back, Whitney!

I, personally, know people who have done worse while under the influence of drugs. Mackenzie Phillips slept with her own father! The person I know slept with her own step-father! A little spit probably seems small in the scheme of other things! I'm just glad she's back! Sad she felt she needed to blame EVERYTHING on Bobby! Bobby didn't make her stand outside the jail when he got out and wrap her legs around him! That would have been my exit. I remember watching his reality show and it seemed, back then, that Whitney was rude and nasty to her fans and HE was the one doing all the apologizing. I'm just saying...

As I've said before with regard to another celebrity in trouble, the whole blame-it-on-Bobby strategy may have its origin with Whitney's publicity machine. They are the ones who, IMO, encourage celebrities to lie to make themselves look good and/or get back into the good graces of the fans.

And in Whitney's case, most fans want to believe her drug problem -- in fact, all of her problems -- began the day she got involved with BB. That may or may not be true but, sucker that I am, I'm inclined to believe at least SOME of it.

In the interview, Whitney said she was "addicted" to BB, so the "waiting-outside-the jail-to-jump-into-his-arms-and-wrap her legs-around-him" makes sense to me. It's the Stockholm syndrome, entertainment crackhead-style.

She was waiting outside because like all crackheads, they love to smoke with company. I knew Whitney was in trouble when, before she married Bobby, she said on Jay Leno that she was engaged to Randall Cunningham and he, 2 months later, married his high school sweetheart. She, then, went on Arsenio Hall and talked about dating Eddie Murphy. A couple months later he married Nicole. Then she wound up with Bobby! She was searching for a drug buddy! I am happy Whitney is clean but, Bobby was not her drug and he was not the beginning to her downward spiral. Now she is saying that she is mad at Oprah! Saying Oprah was trying to get good ratings! Whitney is delusional!
