We Lose A "Spinner"

Billy Henderson, a member of the "Spinners," passed away at the age of 67, from complications of Diabetes. The singing group best known for songs like "I'll Be Around" and "Rubberband Man." The group was formed in a suburb of Detroit in the 60's. Our prayers go out to his family. Thank you for the music....

R.I.P.

Famed author, Sidney Sheldon, died today at the age of 89. I only remember one book that he wrote. It was called "The Other Side Of Midnight." My mother read that book to my sister and I when we were kids. We loved it and it sparked our love for reading. Our prayers go out to his family.

My blogs will be a little sporadic for the next few days. My family suffered a death and we are still reeling from it. I promise to keep up with my duties but, if I'm a little late charge it to my head and not my heart. Keep my family in your prayers.

I Knew It!

The family of the deceased, mother of two, killed in the accident involving Brandy have filed a $50 million dollar wrongful death suit. They are naming Brandy in the suit. It's such a sad situation. I hope that they come together and settle. Sidenote: If the accident was caused by Joe Blow, would there be a $50 million dollar lawsuit?

Paris!

Paris Hilton filed a federal lawsuit to shut down a website. The site, Parisexposed.com, had pictures of Paris, and friends, snorting a cocaine-like substance and her medical records showing she takes Valtrex for herpes. The items were found in a storage area that she failed to pay for. I heard that she started the website. I can't believe that is true because she had pictures of Nicole Richie sniffing some kind of powder and pictures of herself in various states of undress. Note to readers: Pay your storage bill! Oh, and burn your medical records! LMAO

Today...

Today, I watched Forest Whitaker on Martha Stewart's show. This was against my better judgement. You see, I have a problem with Martha Stewart. No, it's not her conviction or her alleged "attitude" problems. I hate to watch her dig in the garden and plant flowers and in the next segment she's cooking. Did she wash her hands? Seriously, I need to see her do it! This sounds petty but, I cringe when she touches the food! I'm pretty sure she washes her hands but, you never know! Note to reader: Does this bother you or do I have OCD? Hi Bryan!

Latrell Spre What the hell!

Latrell Sprewell, no stranger to trouble, is in court again. This time, his live-in ex-girlfriend is suing him for palimony. Candace Cabbil, mother of his four children, says Latrell broke a "co-habitation" deal they had. She says after being traded to the Minnesota Timberwolves, he stopped coming home, stopped giving her money for the house and moved onto a yacht he bought in Minnesota. She also says that he came home and assaulted her. Listen, she has four children between the ages of 13 and 3, and she has guardianship of a 16 year old he had by someone else. I would sue his ass for that alone! Leave me to take care of YOUR child by someone else? I don't think so! I'm sorry, there goes my temper again! Anyhoo, she is suing for $200 million. Note to Candace: Go Girl!

Brandy, manslaughter?

Police recommended Monday that singer, Brandy, be chareged with a single count of Vehicular Manslaughter. As I reported last week, Brandy caused a four car collision on December 30, 2006. There was one fatality. Brandy has released a statement expressing her sorrow for the family of the deceased, and asked for privacy for them both.
