Movie Review!

So, I went to see the new movie, "Watchmen" today. I have never read the book and I knew nothing of the comic book. Therefore, I loved it! The movie was long but, it was action packed and had quite a few good parts. I am sure that some comic book nerd will write a review and totally pan the movie! Take it from me it was good. Don't take children because there are sex scenes and nudity. To be precise, there is a naked blue man and they show full frontal nudity, every time they can! Go see it if you have more than 2 hours to spare!

Chris Brown Charged!

According to People.com, "The L.A. District Attorney's office announced Thursday that the R&B star was being charged with two felonies – assault and making criminal threats – in the alleged beating of his girlfriend Rihanna last month. Even though the couple seem to have reconciled, the case is proceeding.

If convicted, Brown faces anywhere from probation to a maximum four years and eight months in state prison, DA spokeswoman Sandi Gibbons said.

Brown is expected to enter a plea in court Thursday. He is required to appear in person."

I wonder if Rihanna will go to court with him? This is bizzaro!!!!

Father Of The Year!

Jason Taylor wins this award, hands down! Especially after turning down a one-year contract with the Washington Redskins – worth $8.5 million – to stay home with his wife and children.

"Being away from my family was very difficult," says Taylor, who spent four months in Los Angeles on Dancing with the Stars before being traded by the Miami Dolphins to D.C., where he has lived for the past six months.

"As you get older in life you start to re prioritize things and realize what's important. I just wanted to re prioritize it and focus more on my family than I did on myself and my career," says Taylor.

"I know people are going to think I'm crazy, walking away from 8.5 million," says the athlete, who is back at home in Miami with wife, Katina, 33, and children Isaiah, 6, Nason, 4, and Zoe, 3. "There are certain things money can't buy, like time with your children … I didn't have a father growing up [so] I understand how important it is. I don't want to miss my kids lives."

Something In The Milk Ain't Clean!

There needs to be an investigation into Nick Schuyler. This is the man that went fishing with NFL players, Marquis Cooper and Corey Smith. First he claimed that they were all together until 2 a.m. and the waves grew stronger and washed them away. Now, he claims that Marquis Cooper and Corey Smith decided they'd had enough and let go and basically, killed them self! There needs to be a thorough investigation. His story keeps changing! I, also, find it odd that they were 30 miles away from shore. That boat didn't look like a 30 miles away from shore, boat! It appeared to be a 5 miles out, boat. The coast guard suspended their search for the 3 remaining passengers, yesterday. Barring a miracle, they feel that the men could not have survived the cold water, this long. My prayers are going out to their families.

Say What???

Apparently the news is going around that Mrs. Obama is happy that her girls look up to Beyonce! Read this:

I refuse to believe that, with a mother like Michelle Obama and a father like President Obama, the girls look up to Beyonce! This is, yet again, Beyonce's way of trying to take shine from Jennifer Hudson! This is a shame!

Nahla Spotting!

Little Nahla was out and about over the weekend! Nahla was with Halle Berry and Gabriel Aubry out shopping in Malibu — dad needed some new jeans! Nahla will be a year old in 2 weeks! She is talking! She says "papa" which is the French equivalent of "dada." Cute!

Prayers Needed!

Two NFL players have been reported missing after a fishing trip in Florida! According to yahoo news, "Two NFL players are among a group of boaters reported missing off Florida's Gulf Coast.

Sports agent Ron Del Duca said his client, Detroit Lions defensive end Corey Smith, and Oakland Raiders linebacker Marquis Cooper were two of the four boaters who were reported missing Sunday morning by the Coast Guard.

The Coast Guard issued a statement saying the boaters were on a 21-foot vessel that left Clearwater Pass on Saturday morning for a fishing trip and did not return as expected. Crews used a helicopter and a 47-foot motor-life boat to search a 750-square mile area west of Clearwater Pass on Sunday."
