Imus Be Fired!

According to AllHipHop.com The National Association of Black Journalists are calling for the firing of shock-jock Don Imus. Apparently, Imus made some very racist comments on his syndicated radio show. Don Imus called the female basketball team from Rutgers University "nappyheaded ho's" and "Jiggaboos" after their NCAA championship loss. He has since apologized but should be fired anyway! Note to Don Imus: We as African Americans are tired of you using us! We already know that you say awful things about us so that your racist listeners will continue to listen. You then, apologize behind their backs to keep your job. We are calling for your firing! You must go immediately! On another note, if you hate us so much, give us back the afro!!!!!

What in the hell is this? Fortuna Daphne Bay is the name of Scary Spice's baby. I know she is mad at Eddie but damn! Then again, her other daughter's name is Phoenix Chi! Eddie definitely won't claim this one!

Sad News!

Calvin Lockhart died March 29th from complications of a stroke. The Bahamas born actor was 72. I will always remember him in "Uptown Saturday Night". That is one of my favorite movies. He is the "original" Biggie Smalls! Bet you didn't know he was the first black person to be in the Royal Shakespeare Theater! He will truly be missed. Our prayers go out to his family...

The rumor mill is buzzing! I reported that Olivia was dropped from G-Unit but, apparently she won't be the only one. I hear that Young Buck is next. I don't know why! Young Buck's new CD has been doing well, at least it had great reviews. I hear that the departure may be because of his talks with The Game. If that's the case, somebody needs to grow up! I also heard that 50 Cent fired 50% of G-Unit's staff. Note to 50: Keep Young Buck, get rid of Tony Yayo!

Out Magazine named the 100 influential gays and lesbians. Anderson Cooper was named but shockingly so was Wanda Sykes! I knew I couldn't really put a finger on her preference but, I didn't think she was gay! I've never seen her in birkenstocks! LOL No, seriously, she really flew under the radar. Let's see if she sues. Note to Wanda: It did miracles for Ellen Degeneres! Use it to your advantage! Out Magazine also named famed producer/manager Benny Medina! No shock there! Halle Berry was given a star on the Walk of Fame. It's long overdue. Actually she was voted to get the star in 2003 but scheduling prevented it. So, she gets it now. During the ceremony, Halle got down and kissed the ground and layed on the star. Note to Halle: You got the Oscar already! You don't have to lay down with another star!

Former Spice Girl, Melanie Brown, welcomed a baby girl today! The baby came in weighing 5 pounds 4 ounces. She was born just after midnight. Mother and baby are doing well. No name has been chosen yet. Eddie get to swabbing! It's DNA time!!!!! Update: Today also happens to be Eddie Murphy's birthday! It's A sign Eddie!

My Question Is.....

Over the weekend The Rev. Al Sharpton and Russell Simmons and other notables, had a protest of sort. The protest was of G-Unit and Tony Yayo, regarding the alleged slap of Jimmy "Henchman" Rosemond's son. My question is: Why is 50 Cent being put in the middle of this? 50 Cent has issued a statement denouncing the alleged actions of Tony Yayo. The statement also said he (50 Cent) was at home the entire time. Yes, I am a diehard G-Unit fan! No, I don't believe he should be responsible for the actions of Tony Yayo! I think of it this way, If I hit my child or any child, my entire family will not be jailed! I must be held accountable for my actions, alone! Get it right people. That protest was like me protesting Al Sharpton's perm!

Rumor has it that Olivia (the first lady of G-Unit) was fired! Olivia was on the radio and set the record straight. According to Olivia, she walked away from G-Unit and her contract. Whateva! A Bahamas judge has hsot down Howard K. Sterb's appeal. Mr. Stern was trying to block the DNA results. The judege deemed his appeal frivolous and sanctioned him. He will pay $10,000, and $5,000 will go to Larry Birkheads Bahamas lawyer. This means that the DNA results will be heard this week! I just can't wait to see Howard's face when everyone knows he's not the father! Stay tuned!

Good News!

I read about a young girl from Paris, Texas, who was going to do 7 years in prison for a minor squirmish. Allegedly the girl showed up at school early, the teachers aide tried to prevent her entrance. Allegedly Shaquanda Cotton brushed past the lady, bumping her. She was tried and convicted and given 7 years. 7 years! Well a letter writing campaign started (I wrote several). Good news people! Shaquanda Cotton has been released. The girl had no prior convictions! People be aware of your surroundings! I will NEVER live in a capital punishment state! The reason being, simple things are dealt with too harshly! If you have children, do yourself a favor and take cover!
