Wesley Snipes was ordered to do 3 years for his tax evasion problems. The Prosecution pushed for the maximum and got it. According to People magazine, "The defense, on the other hand, sought probation rather than prison time. "Wesley Snipes is not a dangerous man who needs to be imprisoned to protect the public," Snipes' attorney said in his sentencing memo. "He is contrite, promises that he will never again break the law, and respectfully asks the court to consider not just the jury verdict but also all the good that he has done in his life." Snipes's side also claims the tax loss from 1999 through 2001 is only $227,959. Whatever the sum, "The IRS will still try to collect the money. You can count on that," Victor Lessoff, who heads the Internal Revenue office in Tampa.

Actor Orlando Brown ("That's So Raven") is missing and has not been seen in over 24 hours! According to People.com, "The 20-year-old reportedly left his manager's house around 10:20 a.m. to make a quick trip to 7-Eleven and has not been seen since. According to Brown's publicist, Elayne Rivers, he had a full day of meetings and appointments in preparation for a photo shoot Wednesday. Rivers adds that friends and family are very concerned, as the young actor is not one to be out of touch for long, and the convenience store was within a short walking distance from his manager's home in Studio City. Ricky Romance, Brown's close friend and manager, has been calling all local hospitals and posting MySpace bulletins repeatedly, hoping someone somewhere might have seen or heard something about his whereabouts. Brown has several projects in the works, including a Raven spin-off show, tentatively titled The Orlando Brown Show and a second album featuring tracks with top artists Akon and Sean Kingston. Star Jones Reynolds will soon be known as "Star Jones" again. According To Entertainment Tonight, Star Jones filed for divorce on March 26th. The papers were marked as an “Uncontested Matrimonial” case by the court and the records were sealed.
She told ET, “Several years ago I made an error in judgment by inviting the media into the most intimate area of my life. A month ago I filed for divorce. The dissolution of a marriage is a difficult time in anyone’s life that requires privacy with one’s thoughts. According to People.com, "Beyonce and Jay-Z are mum, but their paperwork is doing the talking for them: The couple filed their signed wedding license Friday in Scarsdale, N.Y., PEOPLE has confirmed exclusively. Scarsdale Town Clerk Donna Conkling tells PEOPLE the license – which lists the wedding date as April 4 – was received on Friday afternoon. The couple applied for the license just three days before the ceremony attended by friends and family, including Beyoncé's mother Tina Knowles, her father/manager Mathew, her sister Solange, her Destiny's Child pals Kelly Rowland and Michelle Williams, and the couple's friend Gwyneth Paltrow. Although the couple's license was filed more than five days after the wedding – as required by law – Conkling tells PEOPLE it's expected to be processed with the state without a penalty. (No special celeb treatment here: Conkling says the penalty is frequently waived.)
