This award goes to O.J. Simpson! I am giving him this award because today he is facing 5-Life in prison. Just 13 years ago he was spared a jail sentence when he was acquitted of murdering his wife and her friend. Wouldn't that have been a "sit down and shut up" lesson? No, he needs to flaunt the fact that he can still live decently and act "hard!" I am hoping they won't throw the book at him but, they will. I will pray for ya O.J.!

By-Golly She Failed!
I think that Sarah Palin was extremely rehearsed (that's why she had to stay on certain subjects and couldn't answer the questions asked!) and a little better than her previous interviews. I did notice that she lacked in many important areas. I shall enumerate them for you:
1. She didn't know the requirements or the responsibilities of the Vice President.
2. She failed to acknowledge the causes for the climate changes.
3. She lacked quite a bit of knowledge of foreign policies and affairs.
4. She was extremely condescending when she talked about being a parent(as if she cornered the market on it)
5. She was rude when she said Biden's wife will get her reward for teaching. Note Biden lost a wife and kids in the 70's!
With all these things, she failed miserably. I can't believe that a card-carrying Republican would vote for her! Obama '08!
For The Beyonce Fans!
Beyonce is close to putting out her new CD. She announced that she had recorded 70 songs, during her concert in Bermuda! "BeyoncĂ©’s third solo LP is just a month and a half from release, but aside from some teases promising collaborations with Justin Timberlake and producer Sean Garrett (Usher, Fergie), not much is known about the singer’s still-untitled album, set to drop November 18. “I have recorded over 70 songs and have created a sound that reveals all of me. I am in a different place right now, and I wanted people to see the many sides of me,” BeyoncĂ© continued in the letter. “The music is upbeat for the dance, fun side, and it is reflective, passionate and serious for the personal side. I have taken risks here. I am not afraid. … There is no label or tag on my sound. It’s me, and I am so excited to share it with the world.”

The "First Lady" Speaks...
Michelle Obama was interviewed by Ryan Seacrest and asked about Joe Biden and how Obama won her over! She said about Joe Biden, "I hope that part of his personality comes through." As for her own guy, Obama, 44, talked about her husband's ceaseless energy and promise – and about the couple's courtship. Asked how she and Barack met, Michelle said he simply told her, "We should go out. He had no special lines. Barack's not some line-giver."
Cuteness FactorHe did, however, "melt" her with a special treat on one of their first dates – chocolate ice cream – and ultimately won her over with "his overall personality," she said. "And he’s cute!" In regard to the couple's kids, Malia, 10, and Sasha, 7, their mother told Seacrest that their lives will remain as normal as possible. Currently in the Obama household, "We're trying to figure out what they're going to be for Halloween,” she said. And come November, "If [Barack] is in the White House or in our house, [the girls] are going to be the center of our universe. We're going to make sure they're protected and that they have some level of normalcy." I think that the Obama's are the most level-headed family to approach the White House in years!

Was Tracy Tunblad Out Of Order?
That's what Bianca Golden (former "America's Next Top Model" contestant) says. According to People.com, "America's Next Top Model contestant Bianca Golden is speaking out for the first time about the Caribbean airport brawl, saying both Hairspray star Nickki Blonsky and her father attacked Golden's mother. Golden says on the Oct. 8 episode of The Tyra Banks Show that her family was at the Turks & Caicos airport on July 29 returning from a family reunion for her dying grandfather when Nikki Blonsky became "very rude to my aunt." An argument erupted between Blonsky's and Golden's families, then Blonsky's father Carl "punched my mom." "He knocked her out," says Golden. "He hit my mom with such force she stumbled back and when she stumbled back the whole family got up and attacked my mom." Then, when her mother was on the ground, Nikki "takes her foot and kicks my mom in her vagina, and that's when my mom fell out completely," says Golden."When Nikki kicked my mom I went and grabbed her arm and she grabbed my earring," says she. "Her mom sat on her to get her off of me cause her mom saw what was happening and that was that." Golden says her mother was airlifted to the hospital with internal bleeding, a broken nose and a fractured skull. "Her face is still black and blue," she says. Carl and Nikki Blonsky and Golden were all arrested on assault charges – the most serious charges against Carl. A rep for Nikki says: "Since this is a pending legal issue, we've been advise by her lawyer not to comment." This is one side of the story, let's allow the judicial system to work this matter out!
Let's Get Ready To RRRRRUUUMMMBBBLLLEEE!
Tonight, it is going down! Sarah Pain vs. Joe Biden! This will be monumental! Palin has yet to answer basic questions ("What magazines do you read?" "Name some Supreme Court decisions!") let's see if she will be able to answer the really hard and important ones! I have my ringside seat and my snacks, I suggest YOU tune in, too! She likens herself to a pitbull! She is going to meet a REAL pitbull, tonight!
Beautiful..
Laila Ali and her husband Curtis have premiered their most prized possession, Curtis Muhammad Conway, Jr. The photos are in OK magazine. The little featherweight appears to have his mothers hair and her beauty! Not that the father is hard on the eye! The couple appear happy and all look healthy! Kudos to the beautiful couple!
Letter To Readers...
Barack Obama has written a letter to you! It is in the November issue of Vibe Magazine. He wants to talk to you about YOUR future! He wants to open your eyes to the despair that the middle class and below, will feel if Mccain takes office. Won't you read his letter? Listen to his plan for the United States! He is personally talking to all of you who feel that voting makes no difference! He is talking to the disenfranchised and out of work! He is talking to the disrespected and disregarded! He is talking to America! Won't you read his letter?
The Secret Life Of Bees!
No, "B" doesn't stand for bitches! I love this cover of Ebony magazine because it shows the diversity of African Americans and their power! Queen Latifah, Jennifer Hudson and Alicia Keys grace the cover and work it out! October 17 will be the debut of their movie, "The Secret Life Of Bees!" Go see it!
Jay-Z Dreams Of Babies!
Jay-Z is known for his philanthropic efforts and his music and his famous wife. What people don't know is that he dreams of having a family of his own. He could adopt but, he wants his own children. He told People.com, "Most people dream of having a family someday," he told reporters. "So I'm just a regular American boy." I wonder how far, in the future, the babies are.

Update On Richard Collier!
I would love to have good news but, the news could be better. The former NFL player was shot while sitting in a car after a night on the town. "Jacksonville Jaguars offensive tackle Richard Collier, shot while sitting in a car outside an apartment complex earlier this month, is paralyzed below the waist and his left leg was amputated, his doctor said Monday. Collier was on a ventilator for about three weeks and has no memory of the shooting, said Dr. Andy Kerwin, a surgeon for the University of Florida at Shands Jacksonville hospital. “His overall condition has improved greatly,” Kerwin said. “We expect him to be discharged soon.” I am keeping him and his family in my prayers. He has alot of healing, mentally and physically, to do.

The Fallout....
Remember when you wanted to go to school and you either used a student loan or financial aid? Well, that will also be affected by this economic recession. Read on, if you care:
"Dozens of the country’s biggest lenders have stopped doling out student loans to struggling college kids because of the economic upheaval - leaving scores of would-be scholars combing the want ads this fall instead of hitting the books. Many lending experts say panicked banks are still reeling from mortgage meltdowns and are leery about taking a chance with their dwindling liquidity. More than 33 banks and lenders have completely shuttered or suspended their private loan programs in the past year, and more than 100 have stopped participating in all or parts of the federally guaranteed student-loan program, according to FinAid.org, a Web site that keeps track of the student-loan industry. The scurrying ranks include former lending powerhouses such as MyRichUncle.com, Bank of America and Campus Door, which was backed by Lehman Brothers. “The credit crisis has had a tremendous impact on student loans,” said Keith Alliotts, of TuitionBids.com, a website that helps students find the best prices on loans for college. “It’s hard to find anyone doing student loans because so many have left the space.” He said his office is inundated with calls from frantic students and their parents, scrambling to come up with the cash for college. “It’s a sad state of affairs,” he said. Kristina Fernandes, 20, was so desperate that she borrowed $8,000 at 18 percent interest rate to cover her expenses at NYU this semester. “It sucks,” she said. Her federal student-aid package gives her $15,000 a year for school, but she reckons that her tuition, room and board will reach $40,000 for the year. Fernandes, an economics student, took out the loan and works two jobs to swing it. “I’m having a hard time with the whole time-management thing because I spend so much time working instead of studying,” she said.
Time to flip the burgers or make the donuts! This ish is getting major!!!!!
Out Of The Woods!!!!
I Heard....
I have been hearing rumblings for weeks that Elisabeth Hasselbeck (The View) would be starting her own show on Fox News. This would certainly be the best thing to happen to the ladies of "The View!" I am, personally, sick of her! She feels that no one is entitled to their opinion. If you say something about McCain, she says something about Obama. If you say something about Palin, she says something about Biden. Can't she just sit there and be quiet? We know she is a republican, she won't let us forget! I would personally give her a going away party if she leaves for Fox News!

The Family That Works Together....
Jada Pinkett Smith had alot to say about her working family, and what makes it work, in her interview with Jet magazine. "As a Black woman I’ve really been trying to craft a line in my creative life to show that we can do anything, she says about her outlets of creative expression. I feel like that’s an important element to show because people will oftentimes try to keep us in our place, she told Jet magazine. Now that acting jobs for the Smith children are becoming more frequent, Pinkett Smith vows that there will be no box-office competition in her household. "If this is really going to be our family business, we’re not doing that. Will was already [premiering] on Willow’s [premiere day] for American Girl with Hancock and I was like, Baby, for real? We have to stay united. You can’t allow the business to come between family." You gotta love a black united family making it work!
