Director, John Singleton, was involved in a fatal pedestrian accident on Thursday night. Singleton, was driving his Lexus SUV in Los Angeles when 57 year old Constance Russell stepped into the street. John Singleton stayed with her until the police came, unfortunately she died at the hospital. The police say alcohol or drugs were not involved and it was just an accident. My prayers go out to her family and to John Singleton.

Michael Vick's estranged father has something to say! Is he upset that he has no money? Could it be that he is hurting for cash? You be the judge after reading his statement to the newspaper: Michael Boddie, in two sometimes tearful interviews with The Atlanta Journal-Constitution this week, said some time around 2001 his son staged dogfights in the garage of the family’s home in Newport News, Va. Boddie also said Vick kept fighting dogs in the family’s backyard, including injured ones — “bit up, chewed up, exhausted” — that the father nursed back to health.

Boddie, who is estranged from his son, dismissed the idea that Vick’s longtime friends were the main instigators of the dogfighting operation. “I wish people would stop sugarcoating it,” Boddie said. “This is Mike’s thing. And he knows it. He “likes it, and he has the capital to have a set up like that.”

Bishop Thomas Weeks turned himself in to the cops today. He is facing charges of assault and making terrorist threats. His victim/wife, Juanita Bynum, posted a message on her myspace blog saying that she is recuperating from her bruises and that "This too shall pass!" More like, "Let him out, I'm going to kick HIS ass!"

The Maricopa County sheriff raided the Phoenix Arizona home of DMX. They found a large cache of weapons and 12 pitbulls in distress. What are the cops doing? Following rappers and looking for their dogs? This Michael Vick shit is getting ridiculous! On the other hand, DMX did plead guilty to animal cruelty in 2002. He also was found NOT guilty of shooting and stabbing his mother! Can you say I-N-T-E-R-V-E-N-T-I-O-N ?

Trainwreck!

Amy Winehouse and her husband Blake got into a fight in a hotel this morning. It was pretty bloody! Witnesses say Amy met a girl on the corner and got a small package from her. Minutes later the couple was heard fighting and emerged from their hotel room battered and bloody. Ironically, the pair have been holed up in this hotel room since they both left rehab. Both were being treated for their addictions to crack and heroin. Normally, I don't comment on things like this but, I love irony. How ironic is it that she has a hit song saying, "They tried to make me go to rehab but, I said NO, NO, NO!" The couple went to rehab and left 2 times! I hope they get themselves together. I really like her music! In case you haven't guessed that picture of the girl in the strapless dress is Amy Winehouse in 2003. Note to readers: If that ain't a reason to stay off drugs, I don't know what is!

Televangelist Takedown!

Televangelist Juanita Bynum was attacked by her husband Bishop Thomas W. Weeks. The fight broke out at 4 a.m. in an Atlanta airport hotel parking lot. Mrs. Bynum says her husband choked her and pushed her down and stomped and kicked her and she has the pictures to prove it. This is coming from the woman who prayed for a husband. Look at what she got! TMZ got the pictures. Damn, they are everywhere!

Foxxy Brown has been jailed for probation violation. She will spend the next 2 weeks in jail until her next court appearance on September 5th. During her court appearance she confirmed she is pregnant and engaged. Note to Foxy: Don't drop the soap! LOL

Rumor has it that Mary J. Blige is pregnant! I'm not sure if it's true but, if it is I am sooo happy for her! From what I could see she has been a wonderful Step-mother. Congrats to Mary and her husband Kendu!

Mel B Crazy!!!

Mel B and her new hubby are on the cover of "Hello" magazine. Mel B says she read the police report about her hubby's domestic assault. She says the report says nothing of him putting his hands on anyone! Mel says it hurt her that her family reads these things and believes them. She says she is a very independent woman and would never put up with anything like that, anyway! We'll see! I hope she has enough sense to walk when the time comes! Otherwise, go Mel! Foxy Brown is in trouble, AGAIN! Apparently, last week, she was driving, while talking on the phone, and ran a stop sign. When the cops asked her name, she gave a false name and wrong birthdate. She soon gave the right info and police found that her driver's license was suspended. They issued 7 tickets and she has to go to court in New Jersey. Top that off, she is claiming to be pregnant! Who in the, methamphetamine haze, impregnated her? At the rate she is going, her baby will be delivered on Rikers Island!

The prosecutors in the Michael Vick case are pushing for 18-36 months of incarceration. Michaels's people say 24 months MAX! Michaels's lawyers are now in talks with the NFL to see where his standings with the organization are. That's right don't cop a plea until you know you will still be eating! Stay Tuned!

TMZ.com says that Michael Vick will plead guilty to felony conspiracy, imminently! It's not known how much time a person can get for that but, I am sure that the good-ole-boys will try to throw the book at him. Anyhoo, I'll keep ya posted....
