Three More Days!
Can this really be true? Yes, it can! Please don't listen to the polls, get out and vote! Don't get comfortable, stand in line and vote! It's too important to think that your vote isn't needed! Do it for your kids! Do it for posterity! VOTE!
Surprise Surprise!
Surprise, surprise a former NBA player running from child support! Read about Jason Caffey:
November 01, 2008. MOBILE, Ala. (AP) — A judge has dismissed former NBA player Jason Caffey's bankruptcy case, clearing the way for several women to sue him for thousands of dollars in child support.
U.S. Bankruptcy Judge Margaret A. Mahoney dismissed the bankruptcy case Tuesday — which means the mothers of his children can sue for child-support payments. Caffey has 10 children with eight women.
Caffey declined to comment Tuesday to the Press-Register in Mobile.
The bankruptcy filing also had blocked an arrest warrant issued by a judge in Georgia. LoRunda Brown's attorney, Randy Kessler, told the Mobile newspaper he will ask the judge to reinstate the warrant. He hopes the prospect of jail might entice him to pay Brown child support and legal fees totaling more than $200,000.
"She has no interest in seeing him go to jail," Kessler said. "She has an interest in seeing her child taken care of."
The bankruptcy judge also allowed Nicole Carter to sue Caffey over accusations that he fraudulently transferred assets meant to guarantee a trust fund set up for their daughter. Her attorney, Steven Terry, said he plans to file that lawsuit soon.
Caffey of Mobile, who played for the University of Alabama and won two NBA championships with the Chicago Bulls during the 1990s, filed for bankruptcy protection in August 2007. He listed $1.9 million in debts against about $1.15 million in assets.
Damn shame! Pay for your kids!

Not Again!
Uh, Yeah!
Quatro Mas!
Four more days until WE vote! I feel like singing! I keep hearing people talk about Obama's lack of experience. What experience did George W. Bush have? Aside from his father being president, what experience did he have? Please stop talking about McCain having war experience! Remember, he was tied up in a basement somewhere! Four more days!

Take The Test!!!
This post is directed to Michelle Davis Balfour(William Balfour's mother). I learned today that the police have found the murder weapon and William Balfour is refusing to take a lie detector test. I am talking to his mother because she seems to imply that people are "blaming" him for no reason. I have a son myself. If he was ever accused of something so heinous, I would tell the family that my prayers are with them and that is it! I would support my son but, I wouldn't make stupid statements to the press. Everybody loves their children. It makes no sense that she can't see why people are naming him as a person of interest. Mrs. Balfour, if you love your son, tell him to take the test!
Hip-Hop Teaches!!!
Don't tell me Hip-Hop can't reach and teach! These kids teach about voting and they use T.I.'s song "Whatever You Like!" I love it!

I Am Too Busy!
So much has been going on that I forgot to post a couple of pics of Beyonce! I know people are pulling their hair out! LOL The first pic is a promo for Beyonce's new CD. Now, you see why every man wants her? The second is an appearance Beyonce made at Bloomingdales in NYC. She was promoting her new movie "Cadillac Records." In the movie she plays Etta James. She was also talking about the new line of 1960-inspired clothes being made by "The House Of Dereon." Also known as "The House Of Dead-Wrong!" LOL

A Message From Julia Hudson....
People have been speculating on why this William Balfour was even in this wonderful family. They have also blamed Julia for the tragedies. She will no doubt feel alot of guilt. I think we should respect their privacy and stop judging. This is her message via Myspace:
"Let's see I'm 29 years old, I have one child and I'm always bored. I love to have fun - even start a little s*** here and there. I have two younger siblings - my sister is Jennifer Hudson, yes the Jennifer Hudson, and my brother is Jason.
I guess it's time to update this. When I started my Myspace, all of the above was true. Now because I chose to do what was natural to me and love someone , it cost me my beautiful family. My wonderful beautiful loving supporting mother Darnell, my true blue baby brother Jason , I love u big baby ... And last but never not least - my only son Julian, my innocent baby. One that was sheltered from all the evil in the world because we loved him so much ...
But thank you all for your loving support. I know some of y'all have your opinions and you are entitled to that. [Some of you are asking] why is she logging on to Myspace at a time like this - let me tell you why. I was hoping that was a way to maybe help me get my son, my baby, the one I carried under my heart for 8 1/2 months, the son it took me 21 hours of labor to bring here, the son I grew to know and love for just a few months over 7 years - that's why ...
And now for those of you who actually cared, thank you for all your words of encouragement. Thank you for your prayers, thank you for posting his picture on your pages as your default picture. Thank you...
But his lil soul is at ease. I take comfort in knowing that Julian is with my mother and my brother and most of all the Lord . Now he's my angel, he's protecting me..."
But for the Grace of God go many of us. Please remember, never invite a vampire into your home. In other words, be careful the company you keep. Check out the people you meet before telling them where you live. If something about them spooks you, RUN! Waiting may be too late!
Terrible!
I am an avid watcher of "Dancing With The Stars!" I was terribly disappointed last night when the group did a hip-hop dance. It was awful! They forgot moves, couldn't do moves and were off beat! Susan Lucci should be at home! She has no musicality. She is frail and she looked lost. I took the liberty of posting the video, so that you are just as disusted as I am!
Motown Was Back In Detroit!
Motown was back in Detroit to lay to rest Levi Stubbs. Stubbs was one of the founding members of The Four Tops. The who's who of Motown came to say farewell. The attendees included songwriter/producers Eddie and Brian Holland, Kim Weston, members of the Spinners, Contours, Andantes, Velvelettes, Funk Brothers drummer Uriel Jones, Geno Washington, Sir Mack Rice, Motown etiquette coach Maxine Powell, longtime Four Tops attorney Judy Tint and Harry Weinger, who oversees Motown archival releases for the Universal Music Group. Aretha Franklin, a close friend of Stubbs, was in New York appearing on "The View" Monday but was among those who sent flowers for the funeral.
Stubbs was buried at nearby Woodlawn Ceremony.

Family Gathering!
Tragic News...
When I heard this news I let out an audible scream! I am praying that this family can recover and mourn, in peace. According to People.com, "The body of a young black boy was discovered Monday in an SUV as police continued their search for Jennifer Hudson's missing 7-year-old nephew.
The white SUV was found abandoned on Chicago's West Side, CNN reports. Police have not yet identified the body.
Julian King, 7, went missing Friday after an unidentified assailant fatally shot Hudson's mother Darnell and brother Jason. Hudson offered $100,000 for the safe return of her nephew.
When police issued an Amber Alert for Julian on Friday, they identified a 1994 white Chevrolet Suburban with Illinois license plate X584859 as connected to the case."
Pray for them, everybody....

9 More Days.....
Oh No She Didn't!
Aretha Franklin was in concert in D.C. and she decided to give her own "special" rendition of "Touch My Body!" Mariah Carey is probably somewhere cringing. Check it out:
Oh Terrence.....
Terrence Howard is in deep trouble, again. Perhaps he should have accepted the money from the "Ironman" sequel. Anyhoo, Tex Allen (brother of Phylicia Rashad and Debbie Allen) is suing Terrence Howard for $5 million dollars. Tex Allen is the director of the Broadway production, "Cat On A Hot Tin Roof." During a rehearsal, Mr. Howard, allegedly, punched Allen in the face several times. Causing damage to his lip and making him unable to play the trumpet again. Well, let's see what happens with this one!
An Emotional Plea..
Julia Balfour, sister of Jennifer Hudson and mother of Julian King, made a statement during a press conference. She said, "
“All I ask, I don’t care who you are, just let my baby go,” she said to reporters and relatives. “I just want my son back. He doesn’t deserve this.”
Standing next to Greg King, Julian’s father, Julia Hudson described her son as an “easy-going” child who would rather stay home and read a book or hang out with his grandmother than play outside.
When she called her sister, Jennifer, Julia said the Oscar winner “was screaming” and “flew in right away.”
“It hurts. We’re in a state of shock. I don’t know what else to do but pray,” Julia Hudson said.
She urged the public to keep your eyes and ears open and to call out Julian’s name or “Juice Box” or “Dr. King,” other names he answers to.
“He’s out there. Just let him go,” she said, her voice cracking.
Asked what she would say to her son now, Julia Hudson said: “I love you. Mama’s looking for you.”
Julia Hudson said her mother and her son were “extremely close.”
“I worked, so he was always with her, day in and day out,” she said. “She did everything for him. She got him ready for school. She got him ready for bed.”
She said Julian is smart, has a good sense of direction and knows where he lives. She described him as a “sensitive child” who “doesn’t like to get hollered at.”
She pleaded with Julian’s abductor: “Give me my baby back, that’s all I ask. I know he’s out there. Just let him go.”
Asked her greatest fear and greatest hope, she said: “My greatest fear has already happened. My greatest hope is for him to come back.”
