Australian, Felix Crane, won the crown for Miss Pole Dancer 2009. I thought this was a B.S. award until watched the following video and realized, I can't do that shit! This is worthy of Olympic consideration. Oh, by the way, Felix Crane is a woman. I wasn't sure by the name but, I'm sure now.

Trouble In Paradise!!!

Rev Run's eldest son, 19 year old JoJo Simmons , was arrested last night for possession. Apparently, JoJo went to the weed house and bought wees and proceeded to roll a blunt in front of the weed spot. The police rolled up and arrested him. He resisted and was charged with resisting arrest and reckless endangerment. I feel really bad for Rev. Run but, when your kids are away they will play!

Anyone who lived in Detroit knows Chuck Daly! He was the coach who took the Pistons to their NBA championship wins. Besides being a wonderful coach he was a family man and a style maven. Coach Chuck Daly died today at the age of 78 from Pancreatic Cancer. He will be missed for his sense of style and his knowledge of the game! Rest In Peace, Chuck.......

I guess it comes from all that rubbing up against each other during the Samba. Anyhoo, Lil Kim and Derek are hanging out and partying together.

Happy Mother's Day!

Have you ever wondered why you do the things you do? Ever thought that you were smarter than your parents? Have you ever muttered, "My mother gets on my nerve!" We have all had, at least, one of these feelings. I remember feeling like this but, today I can't fathom being without my mother. I have attended funerals of friends and family, who have lost their mothers. I can see the hopelessness in their eyes. I can never bring myself to speak to them because I hurt like they do. I always put myself in their shoes and I get a sharp pain in my stomach. Everything that I am, today, I owe to her. I, especially, owe my mothering skills to her. She once told me, "Pick your battles." I live by those words, today. I would like to take time out to say, Happy Mother's Day, to my mother. For her tireless and effortless devotion to her children and grandchild. For her unconditional love and support. WE love and appreciate you, mom. Have a Blessed Mother's Day!

There has been a storm brewing on the internet. There is a rapper that is affiliated with T.I. and his Grand Hustle Entertainment group, named AlphaMega. Thesmokinggun.com, outed Alphamega as a D.E.A. informant. Apparently, he snitched on some co-defendents and received a lighter sentence on a drug case. This has caused all kinds of mayhem. A snitch in the rap world? T.I. acted swiftly and fired AlphaMega. Here is the press release from T.I.:

I am stunned and totally surprised by the news about Alfa “Ced Zellars” mega (Ced Zellars). Even though all of our artist and employees are asked by us to be honest and open about their past history, at no time did Alfa disclose to me or Grand Hustle what is now appeared in the media.

He essentially deceived us by failing to fully disclose the truth about his past and there is no place in our organization for dishonest and misleading behavior. As I have always said, you must take responsibility for your own actions.

We at Grand Hustle cannot support or condone blaming others for our own mistakes. I hope and pray that God blesses Ced in his plans, but I don't forsee me or my company playing a role in his personal or professional business.

A Mother's Day Letter!

Russell Simmons has posted a letter to Kimora Simmons for Mother's Day! It's beautiful and poignant and very sweet. Read it:

To all the fathers out there, it’s almost Mother’s Day, so you better start thinking about doing the right thing…Flowers, dinner, breakfast in bed, tuition, something special…
Everyone knows Kimora Lee Simmons as a fashion model, author, the genius behind Baby Phat, President and creative director for Phat Fashions, philanthropist, reality television star, talk show host, top model judge…the list goes on and on. To me, she has been my partner, best friend, consultant, confidant and basically the greatest mother I could ever hope for, for my daughters. I feel so blessed to continue to have such a great personal and professional relationship with her. Every time I spend time with our girls, I credit her for giving them their manners, thoughtfulness, intelligence, beauty and kindness.
A lot of you fathers, if you look deeply inside of yourself, you will find the support system in your baby’s mama, that allows you the freedom to sleep at night. Even though you are partly disconnected from the daily process of raising your children, you can trust that she’s getting the job done. So celebrate your baby’s mama, as I do! I know damn well, I’m grateful for my babies’ mama.

I am finally done with Dancing With The Stars! I was watching and voting for Lil Kim! To my surprise, the voting meant nothing! Lil Kim was sent home on Tuesday and they kept Ty Murray! The man is a stick figure! He is as stiff as a corpse! I refuse to watch anymore! Note to "Dancing With The Stars:" You are dead to me! It's Over!
