Eva Mendes has checked into rehab! She has been in the Cirque Lodge in Utah for the past several weeks. "Eva has been working hard for the past year and made a positive decision to take some much-needed time off to proactively attend to some personal issues that, while not critical, she felt deserved some outside professional support. A woman accused of leaving eight children with little food and no money while she traveled to Africa to marry a man she met on the Internet has been arrested. Shanell Monique Mosley, 33, was met by authorities as she got off an Air France jet Monday at George Bush Intercontinental Airport, and charged with child endangerment and child abandonment for leaving the children in squalid conditions
When she left for Nigeria on December 31, Mosley told her 15 year-old daughter she would return in a month. Mosley’s children are ages 1, 7, 8, 9, 15 and 16, Jordan said. The other two children found in the home were 3 and 4 year-olds the family cared for on behalf of a single father who worked, Jordan said.
The 9 year-old son told authorities he and the baby ate a still-frozen pizza for breakfast the morning they were discovered home alone. There were no diapers, baby food or formula for the infant, no sheets on beds and fruit was rotting in a basket.

I say send her ass back to Nigeria, with a quarter in her pocket and no clothes or shoes. Let her fend for herself in a foreign land. Her children didn't deserve that mess! I have a great idea, put her in an all male jail. She likes men so much let them use and abuse her. I'll bet she will never want to see another man again!

Whoopi Goldbergs daughter, Alexandria Martin, will marry music producer, Stevie J, this spring. This will be the third marriage for the mother of three. Stevie J was once engaged to rapper Eve. Montel Williams will end his talk show, after 17 years, at the end of this season. “I can’t say thank you enough to those who’ve welcomed me into their homes for the past seventeen years,” Williams says in a statement. “It has been both an honor and a joy.” I am going to miss Montel and cigarette voice Sylvia. So Long Montel, it's been real!

Off My Chest!

Many of you have heard about the scandal that has been going on in Detroit. It surrounds the Mayor, Kwame Kilpatrick, and his Chief of Staff, Christine Beatty, and their alleged affair in 2002 and 2003. Text messages showing that they spoke very sexy to each other, have surfaced. People are up in arms about the situation. The city has grown in leaps and bounds. Despite the fact that the auto industry is fledgling, new houses are being built and many companies that left the city, are moving back. Jobs in construction are on the rise and neighborhoods are being revitalized. I don't like a cheater! I really hate a cheater but, if he does his work and his wife doesn't kill him, so be it. I am happy that Christine Beatty has resigned. One of them had to go. He's doing a good job, so he should stay. Her job, unfortunately, was expendable. I wasn't going to discuss this but, my friends and family keep dragging me into it. Leave them alone! Let him get back to work! His wife is probably giving him enough grief. As she should!

Attorneys for Wesley Snipes have rested their case without calling any witnesses! I see that Mr. Snipes isn't the only delusional one. Even if he is acquitted, they should have put on a vigorous defense. Especially since they tried for weeks to have the venue changed, due to racism. He might be a vampire because he really acts batty! LOL Get it? Batty? LMAO

Oprah Winfrey turns 54 today! Who would have thunk it? I can't believe she is 54! Anyhoo, I thank God for giving us Oprah. She really shows people how to give. In fact, Oprah is filming a reality show on the same subject. Ordinary people will be given money to give away and make someone else's life better. Stars (Jada Pinkett Smith and others have already signed on) will follow the people and make sure that the money is helping someone else. I like the idea. Can't wait to see it! In the meantime, Happy Birthday Oprah Winfrey!

She beat Miss Indiana Nicole Elizabeth Rash, the first runner up, and Miss Washington Elyse Umemoto, the second runner up for the $50,000 scholarship and year of travel that comes with the crown.
