Eve Pigford Marceille will wed her handsome beau, Lance Gross. Lance popped the question over the holidays. Lance Gross is an actor on "The House Of Payne." Eve is the America's Next Top Model, season 3, winner. Congrats to the lovely couple.

R.I.P. Eartha Kitt

Sometimes Christmas comes and takes good people away. Eartha Kitt,81, passed away today. According to People.com, "Kitt, 81, had been treated for colon cancer. Her daughter Kitt Shapiro was by her side at the time of her death. Eartha sang "Santa Baby" and was known for her signature growl and sexy ways. She will be truly missed.

Or shall I say Happy Holidays! This is a special time of year. I usually look back at the year and wonder if I was a "good" person. Of course, I come to the conclusion that I was the best person that I could be. I pray that 2008 gave you peace and prosperity. In light of the economy, I pray that 2009 keeps you prosperous and healthy and inspired. May the best of 2008 be the worst of 2009, for you. God Bless you and keep you and yours......

Oh Brutha!!!!

Have you heard of the new singing group of 5 brothers? Real brothers! Well, Obama has! According to sources, they were called to sing at the inauguration. "The call came while the cameras were rolling for their new BET reality show, and Fox followed up with a story. The group is comprised of the five Harrell brothers from Los Angeles, and according to the staffer who called up the guys to give them the invite, Obama is a huge fan of their work." The group is very refreshing but, they love conflict. The show is filled with arguments and strife. I love it! Can't wait!

Oversaturation!!!!

Beyonce released two new videos! One for Halo and the other for Diva. Personally, I was tired of looking at her after so much "Single Ladies!" Then I saw Michael Ealy and thought that it was worth it! I can't post the videos because Beyonce and her father would have a fit but, check out the chemistry between Beyonce and Michael! Jay-Z should be worried.....

On The Mend....

According to People.com, "Jennifer Hudson has been announced to be among the Grammy nominees who'll sing the songs of Neil Diamond at February's MusiCares Person of the Year gala.

The Grammy week event could mark the first public appearance of the Dreamgirls Oscar winner since the tragic events in late October, when her mother, brother and nephew were killed in Chicago."

Hopefully, she will sing before that date. I hope that she accepts the offer to sing at the inauguration! Note to Jennifer: You and your family are STILL in our prayers. Take it easy....

Secret Nuptials?

Sources are saying that singer Monica is a married woman. We all know that she calls her man, Rocko, her husband but, I hear there is truth to that. Uber-Producer, Bryan Michael Cox, slipped and gave up the secret, during a recent interview. Check it:

Question: Back in the day Brandy and Monica were sort of the touted R&B/Pop queens, much like you have let’s say Rihanna and Beyonce today. Working with Monica, who now has children and a family life, was the experience of producing for her new album a challenge?


Bryan Michael Cox: Monica, she’s a mother, a WIFE and all of that right now and she’s a young woman. She was really open. She didn’t want to make a “Oh I’m married and I have to do this” type of album. She still wanted to make a young and fly album. (Source)

Katt Williams Wants To Kill Steve Harvey?

There is a New Year's Eve comedy showdown scheduled. Katt Williams has gone on record and said, "I will retire from comedy after I kill Steve Harvey in Detroit!" Steve Harvey took it all in stride and said, "I let my comedy speak for itself." I will be in attendance and I will be the judge. Personally, I have never thought Steve Harvey was funny. I, also, think Katt Williams could use new material. If I hear those same jokes, again, I will hurt somebody! Note to Lady Di: Before you comment, this is a comedy showdown! Katt Williams, in no way, meant that he would literally kill Steve Harvey.
