That Was Smart!
We may see Michael Vick on the field sooner that we thought! I am very happy!
Atlanta Falcons quarterback Michael Vick could be getting out of federal prison much earlier than anticipated after applying for a prison-monitored drug rehabilitation program and evidently being moved into the program in Leavenworth, Kan. Under the program, Vick could be released after serving only 12 months of the 23-month sentence Vick was given Dec. 10 in Richmond, Va. The program could have Vick out of prison by the end of this year and perhaps back in the NFL by the 2009 season.
As it stands, Vick’s 23-month prison term could translate to a release in the summer of 2009, putting his attempts at a return to the NFL for that season in jeopardy. But if Vick were to be released in late 2008 or early 2009, his opportunity to return to the league after missing only two seasons would be boosted significantly. Members of Vick’s camp continue to hope that NFL commissioner Roger Goodell will decline to tack on a lengthy suspension following Vick’s release from prison.

A Nice Couple!
Kansas City Chiefs, Bernard Pollard, and Cincinnati Bengals, Kenny Irons would make a wonderful couple! If they were gay!

"Needs An Asskicking" Awards Goes To....
Republican Assemblyman (New Jersey) Michael Patrick Carroll, had this to say about blacks and slavery. “But, on a current note, if slavery was the price that a modern American’s ancestors had to pay in order to make one an American, one should get down on one’s knees every single day and thank the Lord that such price was paid. To the extent that America — or New Jersey — ever owed any kind of debt to anyone, that debt was more than repaid through the blood and suffering of 650,000 federal soldiers who died or were wounded during the war provoked by slavery. No one today need feel the slightest guilt, as no one today participated in the wrong.” New Jersey is contemplating apologizing to African-Americans for slavery. This is how their representatives feel!
Yeah!
Barack Obama won the Democratic caucus in Iowa. In a place like Iowa, he beat Hillary Clinton and John Edwards. I am so proud of him! Unfortunately, Michigan is one of the States that Barack decided to leave his name off the ballot for the caucus, this month. He would have walked away with Michigan. We will show him in November.
I Can't Report That!
There is a rumor circulating that Vivica Foxx is taped performing fellatio on an unknown male. I have seen the video and it is pretty clear. The only thing is that it is a side-view and it could be anybody. It looks like her but, I don't feel comfortable saying that it IS her. If it is her, I have one question. "Why?" Aren't you too "old" and allegedly, too "sophisticated" to be caught ass-out like that?
What The F__?
Who Cares?
In "Who Cares" news, Kanye beat Beyonce in a game of Connect Four. Kanye says, "When I was in Europe I would play this game for hours and hours… it helped me zone out. Everybody would get involved… but every now and then people would speak of this legendary connect 4 champion……….. BEYONCE!!! I had 2 play her!…so last night at Jay’s new 40/40 club in Las Vegas she beat me 9 times in a row! (and I didn’t even spaz lol) here’s a photo of the only game I won!" I'm glad he is back to playing games!
Jay-Z Took A Paycut?
According to Page Six, running Def Jam was a paycut. Jay-Z made more money being an entrepeneur, than President of the label. Page Six says, "Jay is focusing on opening five more 40/40 clubs," a source said about Jay's sports club which originated in New York. "He opened Las Vegas on New Year's and up next are LA, Miami, Chicago, London and Houston. He's also looking for hotel space in New York. He wants to open a chic, boutique hotel called The Jay. He just didn't have time to be president of Def Jam." A rep said, "Mr. Carter is still considering several opportunities." That's what I call a paycut!

Well.....
You know, I like Katt Williams. I really do! Chicago isn't feelin that brother, right now. According to Allhiphop.com, Katt was supposed to try out new material on his Chicago audience. Unfortunately, he showed up an hour and a half late and high! The crowd grew restless and someone shouted, "I want a refund!" Katt responded by saying, "Everybody can get a refund!" Sadly, no one could get a refund, and people were pissed! I hope that Katt is not ending his career before it gets off the ground! Note to Katt: Do better!
Finally!
Ne-Yo is suing R. Kelly for a six figure amount, for breach of contract. R. Kelly and Ne-Yo went on tour. The "Double-Up" tour started in September. R. Kelly fired Ne-Yo after two months into the tour. Kelly cited contract problems but Ne-Yo says that he was fired because the crowd was "feelin" him more that R. Kelly. Ne-Yo was paid $50,000 but he says that he is due $785,000. This should be interesting! It's about time somebody stood up to R. Kelly. Remember, he did similar things to Jay-Z during the "Best Of Both Worlds" tour.
Looky Looky!
Tyra's Ready!
"I Can't Even Look?"
According to Page Six, Dave Chappelle had a very public squabble with his wife, Elaine, in front of their sons, Sulayman and Ibrahim. Allegedly, this occured when he excused himself to hold a conversation with model, Geena Rocero. The argument got heated and left his wife in tears. When you marry a man and pretend to be submissive, don't try to flex, later. Had his wife been someone else, he would have been scared to speak to a model. LOL Seriously though, why ya'll got to act ugly in front of the babies?
Congrats! If It's True!
Reports are saying that Paula Patton and Robin Thicke are expecting their first child. She does have a glow! What is the big ass secret with people? I can understand letting your first tri-mester sail by, before telling people, but damn! People are just laying down delivering babies! People, it's not that serious! We don't have to take care of those kids, you do!
Note to Tracey: Don't Be A Donkey!
Eddie Murphy and Tracey Edmonds wed. The couple exchanged vows in front of 25 people on an island near Bora Bora. According to People magazine," Among the guests were best man Johnny Gill, maid of honor Nicole Avant, matron of honor Julie Lev, as well as Edmonds's parents Jacqueline and George McQuarn, her brother Michael, Murphy's mother Lillian Lynch and his brother Vernon". I pray that this union is on the up-and-up but with Johnny Gill as the "best man", I feel like Eddie wrote his vows to Johnny! Ya'll know you were thinking the same thing!

Wow! What A Year!
Jay-Z Opens in Las Vegas!
Jay-Z was finally able to open a 40/40 Club in Las Vegas. He had a star-studded opening this weekend. "My Little Ponies" better known as Beyonce and Solange were there. Ne-Yo and Mary J. Blige added to the star lineup. Vanessa Simmons looked really pretty and someone paid Beanie Siegels way to Vegas! How nice! Looks like fun was had by all!
More Pictures From 40/40 Opening!
Here Are more interesting characters from the 40/40 Club opening in Las Vegas! Gary Payton and his wife showed love! Charles Barkley must have thought there would be an influx of "white women". Joe Jackson was there negotiating a gig for the next Jackson 5 reunion. LeBron James came with a date but took pictures with his mother and Alan and Robin Thicke were cruisin. Strange party goers!
