Robin Thicke Calls Out "Vibe" Magazine!

Robin Thicke is feeling slighted by Vibe Magazine and he says it's because of his race. Read this:

"When I did a recent interview with Vibe magazine I asked, “Why can’t I get the cover? This is a magazine I love. If there’s one magazine that I’d want to be on the cover of, it’s Vibe.” Their response was they don’t have white artists on the cover; that the only white artist they’ve had on the cover was Eminem. I guess if that’s what it is, it is what it is. And I respect that because I live in a house with a black woman.

Not only did McCain meet with Sarah Palin only once, he obviously didn't get her take on being the new VP. Read what she had to say about being the VP before she decided to take the nomination:

"But as for that VP talk all the time, I’ll tell you, I still can’t answer that question until somebody answers for me what is it exactly that the VP does everyday? I’m used to being very productive and working real hard in an administration. We want to make sure that that VP slot would be a fruitful type of position, especially for Alaskans and for the things that we’re trying to accomplish up here for the rest of the U.S., before I can even start addressing that question."

Really Mrs. Palin? What do you want to do? Work for Alaskans or go to funerals for four years? Republicans need to know! LOL

O.J. Got The Pulp Beat Out Of Him By Who?

O.J. Simpson's own daughter, Arnelle, opened a can of whoop ass on August 24th! Read on:

"Cops rushed to the Florida home of O.J. Simpson after his eldest daughter knocked him to the ground in a brawl over his girlfriend Christie Prody, sources said. “Arnelle had a fight with Christie over Christie’s behavior. That’s what started the whole thing. Christie has some problems with drinking, and Arnelle got mad. O.J. said ‘Don’t talk to her like that,’ and Arnelle pushed him.”
The source said Arnelle, 39, called 911 in a fit of guilt after she toppled the 61-year-old on Sunday, giving him a minor head injury.
he police report does not mention O.J.’s fall, but the National Enquirer, which first reported the row, quoted a source saying O.J. was “cut on the back of his head, blood was coming out the side of his mouth and his lip was cut.” The Enquirer said Arnelle was furious with O.J. for dishing out money to Prody, 32, while his high school sweetheart - Arnelle’s mom, Marguerite Whitley - has to work at WalMart to make ends meet. Arnelle also lashed out at OJ for “ditching” Whitley to marry Nicole Brown Simpson, the Enquirer reported. O.J. was acquitted of Nicole’s murder in 1995. Two years later, a civil jury found him “responsible” for the killing. “It wasn’t a big deal,” the source said of Sunday’s scuffle. “He wasn’t all cut up.” The police report says the altercation ended when Arnelle agreed to leave O.J.’s house “in order to let things calm down.”

R.I.P. Andre Young Jr.

The son of rapper, Andre "Dr. Dre" Young, was found dead in his home in Woodland Hills. "Andre Young Jr. was found when his mother went to check on him around 10 a.m. The 20-year-old man was unresponsive, prompting his mother to call 911." The cause of death is not known. Keep their family in your prayers!!!

I Can't Believe I Forgot!

Today marks the 7 year anniversary of the tragic death of Aaliyah Dana Houghton. I'm sure you'll remember her as "Aaliyah!" On this day she went home to a better place and left us with memories and her music. We miss her and wish she had stayed a little longer! Rest In Peace!

A one-legged hooker was killed in Brooklyn after a john hit her over the head, causing her to fall backwards out of her wheelchair and slam her skull against the wall, cops said yesterday.
Elizabeth Acevedo, 38, was found lying unconscious on the floor of a hallway on the 13th floor of a building in the Wyckoff Gardens houses in Boerum Hill on Thursday morning. The handicapped hooker, who lived in the building, was taken to Long Island College Hospital, where she died yesterday morning after being removed from life support, police said. Acevedo - who lost her leg in a train accident - had a rap sheet with 67 arrests for prostitution and drug charges. She wore a prosthetic leg, but also used a wheelchair. Investigators believe she had been servicing a client in the hallway who then hit her on the head with a heavy object. Police were still looking for a suspect."

What the hell? I am speechless! May she rest in peace.

Malinda Williams and Derrick Jones (b.k.a, rapper D-Nice) were married this weekend! they are such a gorgeous couple. The bridesmaids included Terry J. Vaughan (Steve Harvey Show), Vanessa Williams ( Soulfood, the series) and Nicole Ari Parker ( Soulfood, the series). I love the colors! I am thrilled that this union took place! Congrats!
