Eddie Murphy and Tracey Edmonds are allegedly engaged! According to OK Magazine, Eddie popped the question on Wednesday. He topped it off with an 8 Carat Cartier yellow diamond ring. Congrats! Note to Tracey: You sure you wanna marry someone who handled that DNA situation like he did? "But for the grace of God, go you."

The National Enquirer is saying that Tameka (Usher's fiancee) is an ex-con who's boyfriend was killed in a gangland execution. Damn, that's a mouthful! Her former sister-in-law has allegedly spill the beans to the rag mag. So much for family! Anyhoo, they are saying that Usher knows nothing about her past. Will she do a "Confession Part 3"? The wedding is allegedly this weekend in the Hamptons.

How cute! The Simmons launched the "Ming and Aoki" line for Baby Phat. The launch was coincided with a tea party. How cute is that? I didn't have a girl but if I had, I would host many tea parties. Mostly Long Island Tea parties but, tea parties nontheless. LOL I like the Simmons! Divorced or not, they come together for their kids! Loves it!

I thought BET changed the name of the it's protested show? The new name was supposed to be "We Got To Do Better." Charlie Murphy must have gotten the memo late! He constantly said, "Hot Ghetto Mess!" I watched the show. Mostly the videos were of attention seekers doing idiotic things. Some footage was funny. Some footage was shameful. I must admit that the African Americans were not the worst. Michael Strahan and Nicole Murphy (Eddie's ex) were spotted out shopping, according to The New York Post. Between the two they spent $2100.00 at Barneys. I wonder who paid the bill? Nicole received a large settlement from her divorce from Eddie and Michael had to give his ex-wife $15 million dollars in a lump sum settlement. Note to Nicole: Find a man with less baggage or more money! Remember his ex-wife questioned his sexual preference!

What on Earth could she mean? Mel B tells Essence.com that her relationship with Eddie Murphy probably wouldn't have worked. She says that in her house her children are the central focus. She said that in his house poeple would knock on his door at 3 or 4 in the morning. Who was that Eddie? Was it Arsenio? Was it Johnny Gill? Was it some transvestite that you thought was a girl in need?

Imagine my surprise, today I was browsing other blogs and I was floored! The site was Idontlikeyouinthatway.com and the subject was Serena Williams. The blogger says "I'm white and Serena is so butt-ugly!" He/she went on to say other things but they are irrelevant. The comments are what shocked me. There were a lot of racist comments from anonymous people, of course. It saddened me that people REALLY feel this way. I'll bet those "anonymous" folks have black friends and or family members but, this is how they REALLY feel. Being a blogger I like to elicit responses from people but not THAT kind. I want intelligent conversation! If I got that many racist responses to something, I'd shut down my site. I don't believe in giving that shit space to be aired. We all have our opinions but save that racist bull for another blog! Thanx

I'm going to see the movie "Who's Your Caddy" starring Big Boi and many other black stars. I am praying that it is not another "Soul Plane." I am thoroughly disgusted with that movie! I'm pissed off that I can't get those minutes back! Anyhoo, I think Big Boi is a very talented actor. I think his acting is better than Andre 3000. I'll let you know how it went. September 11th! History Again!

September 11th will go down in history again. This year the most anticipated albums will drop on that date. Kanye West's CD "The Graduate" and 50 Cent's CD "Curtis" drop on 9/11. Kanye said he doesn't want to change the date because hip-hop needs this. He said he'd rather be #2 and have people excited about going out buying the CDs, than be #1 and people don't give a rat's a$$. Kudos to Kanye! I am going to cop both CDs because I like songs from them both. Viva La Hip-Hop!
