Yes, apparently betrayal comes from everywhere when money is involved. A family member of Ms. Winfrey, sold the story of Oprah's pregnancy at 14 years old, for a mere $19,000.00. Why people? Greed knows no boundary! The sad part is that Oprah would give her family that much and more. The story is that Oprah was sexually molested from the ages of 10-14. This caused her to act out sexually and become very promiscuous. It is not clear who impregnated her but, Oprah hid the pregnancy until her belly told the tale. The baby passed away, in the hospital, a short time later. This is something Oprah is ashamed of. She didn't want to hurt her family or her career, so she hid these facts. Personally, I feel no differently about her. This has no bearing on the wonderful things she has done in her adulthood. It only shows that teenage pregnancy can be overcome. If you want to excel, nothing can stand in your way. Think about it! How many 14 year old mothers do you know that can turn out like Oprah? Note to readers: With the right guidance, they all can!
