English Financial powerhouse Barclays PLC, has purchased the rights to name the new stadium for the New Jersey Nets. They purchased the rights for $400 million dollars. Jay-Z is under scrutiny for allowing the bank to name the stadium. The Barclays have long been accused of profiting from slave labor and dealing with South Africa during the height of apartheid. This makes me ask, is Jay-Z selling out? Surely he knows of their past. If he doesn't, he needs to get educated. Note to Jay-Z: $400 million dollars is alot of money but, it can't pay for all the broken families, blood sweat and tears!
