Shameful!!!!

How can you call yourself an award winning publication, and contribute to this mess? The Rev. Jeremiah Wright is a scholar. Whether you agree with him or not, the man is educated and quite eloquent. To call his speeches "rantings" is extremely disrespectful. To call his speeches "rantings" means you should call President Bush's speeches "foolishness!" At the very least, he enunciates and pronounces words correctly. His appearances should not hurt Barack Obama, in any way. He has stepped down from his church and is on a speaking tour. Barack has said that he doesn't necessarily agree with him on all levels, and that should be the end. Stop with the snippets! I had the fortune to see and hear his speech at the NAACP Dinner, and I was mesmerized. He could be the next MLK! I'm sure that many people don't want this but, if people get behind him, what can you do? Everytime someone rises to lead, people try to take them down. When Bill Cosby tried to tell African Americans to raise their children right, they said that he fathered children outside his marriage and that he tried to drug and sexually assault a woman. My point is that change is coming! Someone will rise to lead! Perhaps Rev. Wright or Barack Obama, whoever takes the challenge. We are ready! Change is coming!
