Aretha Franklin will be holding auditions for someone to portray her. The musical will be based on the 1999 autobiography, Aretha: From These Roots. I hope they let Jennifer Hudson play the part. I also would like to see LaShell Griffin do it! You know she won the talent contest on Oprah! She also hails from Detroit! This could work! I see a resemblence, don't you?
