Essence magazine confirms the old rumor about a fight over Nia Long. In June 2006 a fight broke out at a mall between two of Nia Long's male friends. One man was the father of Nia Long's six year old son. Apparently Nia was with a male friend and her son. She called her son's father to pick up her son. She made the introductions and her son's father lost it! He shook the man's hand and then socked him! She says the fight wasn't really about her, more about pride versus ego. I totally agree! Note to men: Stop having pissing contests! It's not a good look! Especially in front of your kids!
